Hi everyone! Welcome to round 3 of the MysticWicks CoT Tarot Class! Classes start October 3rd.

Please read this before signing up!

For those of you who don't know me..... I answer to Amethyst Rose, Amy, AR etc., but my name is Heather. I've been reading tarot cards for almost 10 years, have read professionally and I've been teaching tarot for about 10 months now (I think.) One of these days I will have my CPTR (certified professionaly tarot reader) Certification, once I finish all the readings required for it). By all means I don't know everything about tarot, but that which I don't know I will research and find out.

This class concentrates on how to read the tarot effectively for yourself and others. It deals mostly with beginner and intermediate knowledge, with a few advanced lessons thrown in. That said, this class does not contain all the lessons presented on my website, so if you're looking for something more thurough, go there. As a bonus, all students completing this class (who are also MW subscribers) get 40% off of everything on my website.

I have a couple requirements to all those who sign up for this class. First, because this is a class that relies heavily on partner work, only sign up if you know you will have the time and ability to participate for at least 12 weeks. Assignments are handed out with each lesson, approximately one every 1 - 2 weeks. If you are unable to complete an assignment before the deadline it is imperative that you let me know! Anyone late handing in 3 assignments in a row will be removed from the class. Secondly, this may be a free class, but I take it as seriously as any university course, and I expect the same attitude from my students. If you can't give the class and me, the teacher, the respect it deserves, then this isn't the class for you. :)

A word on grading: Assignments are graded using the letter grade system. C is satisfactory, B is good A is excellent....+ and - are inbetween grades. If you want to redo an assignment for a better grade, you are more than welcome. I appreciate research and long winded answers :) An A grade goes beyond what the assignment asks for... it shows me that you are using your brain to teach yourself, rather than just giving me exactly what I want. Grades will be posted on the assignment due date.

Partner/group work: There has been a slight change in the partner/group work this time around. Instead of leaving group work to the honor system, group work will now be graded, and will count towards your final grade. Anyone not completing 3 group reading assignments in a row will be dropped from the course. Groups will be assigned shortly after class begins.

If you have any other questions about how the class is run, please ask in this thread. And if you think you have what it takes for the class, then I'll see you in the signup thread. :)
