Hello all:
I believe that I am coming out of my Saturn return (THANK GOD!), but I am completely clueless how I would calculate it in order to be sure. Obviously, astrology is not my strong suit, so I decided to ask those who are actually proficient in astrology. :)
Birth data: Sept. 22, 1975 at 12:20 PM in Upland, CA.
Thanks very much in advance for any help.

Your natal Saturn is at 00 degrees of Leo, and while Leo is currently at about 07 degrees, I'm not sure at the moment if retrograding could cause him to travel back your way again or not... :)

Sometimes, we have more than one exact hit - as Saturn in the sky moves past the point where Saturn is in your chart, then back again over it, then forwards again over it.
However, you got away easily this time :) There was only one "hit", and that was on 20 July 2005 - so yes, your Saturn return is over. In fact, by October, Saturn should even be doing you some favours as he makes good aspects to Pluto and Neptune. Neptune is a very important planet in your chart, right on your Ascendant - so October 2005 to June 2006 can be a great time for you to *ground* all that Neptunian stuff. What this means in plain English, is that if you do psychic or intuitive stuff - meditating, ritual work and so on - Saturn can help you ground all this; writing a book about it, keeping a dream journal, bringing the stuff you do on the astral planes down to the material plane.
Just because the Saturn return is over doesn't mean life's back to normal, though. Saturn is about facing up to our responsibilities - the Saturn return is like a stern father who on his return asks you whether, now you're nearly 30, you've met the goals you set yourself in life for this period. If you have, he gives you a pat on the head. If you haven't, he gives you a hard time. Your Saturn is part of a difficult "T-square" involving Uranus and Mercury, and the Moon, Jupiter and Chiron. You've spent your life thinking Saturn is putting a dampener on things, whereas in reality he wants you to grow by taking on responsibility. Not all authority figures are bad, and you can combine your radical streak (Uranus/Mercury) and your wild and stormy emotions (Moon in Aries conjunct Chiron and Jupiter) with a more conventional outlook without losing that independence. If you've learned that lesson, you'll go far. If you haven't learned it, or refuse to learn it, you'll continue to be dogged by Saturn.

I want to thank you both so much - I was a bit worried that I hadn't come out of it yet. :)
