Sending energies

When someone asks to send energies how do you do it? Since I have no idea what a lot of people here look like, I image some sort of shadow image of him/her/them and imagine aforementioned energies surrounding them and spiralling around them like colored ribbon. How do you do it?

Personally I send out a beam of silver light, or an arc of sparkling orange, in the direction of the needy. When I know the person fairly well, I'll "hug" them and surround them with calmth and healing.

I know people who light a candle, asks their gods for help, do spells or prayers. Everyone has their own ways.

My method is similar. And often I pray or light a candle.

I feel the energy as heat in the palms of my hands...my left is receptive, my right projective. Visuals only work so far for me: for energy work and meditation I deal mostly with the tactile or kinetic. So when I send energy to someone I draw it in through my left hand (usually over my heart, but sometimes drawing from other sources) and push it out through my right. I think of what I know about the person...name, face, the way they post if they post here on MW...and just let the energy flow. I'm very careful to send energy only to those who have asked for it. It doesn't seem polite to go scattering it around like junk mail.

I tap into my mind and allow the energy to flow from my center and out the tips of my fingers, focusing on the person I want the energies to go to, then I ask Godde to make sure the energies reach the right person and ask Him/Her to also send His/Her blessings on top of that. I basically mish mash prayer and energy sending at the same time.

can people do reiki from a distance or only in person?

I wonder if its possible to do crystal healing/reiki and chakra work from afar then. Could be an idea.

I ask God to send his energy,and his help,since he is everywhere,and knows the heart better than
I do,and knows what a person needs,and where they are at,and he knows thier future.

I am commanded by God to pray for others anyway,and lift them up to him.

I pray to God and Jesus. I feel it is similar to sending energy and prayers are like energy, but what is sent is from yaweh and Jesus when I pray for others.

i create a teal aura engery wave and have it circle around me taking some energy and being sent to a body figure with the person's name on it..

I have a couple of ways I usually do it. Sometimes I just visualize this ball of white light and concentrate on my intention and sometimes I just light a candle and concentrate on my intention.

Well... I picture the person surrounded by white light, or I focus and 'make a ball of light' by my third eye chakra, and send it out to the sky.

(Actually, earlier, I kept missing and making it fall on the ground-_- stupid imagination.)

I send energy in whatever way I feel would send it best for the person, and whichever way I am most comfortable with. Usually, if I don't know what the person looks like, I will try to meditate on their situation and then light a candle and imagine the energy is like the smoke, spreading and drifting out to the person I sent it to. That is what works for me most often, but I use other methods depending on the situation.

When someone I don't know asks for energies what I do is:
I get a mental mage of the person. Not nesiscarily a humanoid image, but a shadow, an animal, a colour or just the name in colour.
Then I draw down the energies, focusing on a lit candle till I can see that image in the flames. Then I extend my hand to the flames and imagine the energies flowing from me through the flame to the other person.
