Not sure exactly where to post this request, so I'll place it in this forum.

I'm interested in constructing an heirloom-quality BOS, and need to know if anyone has a resource on how I can obtain the actual blank bound book.

Here's a list of my criteria:

It needs to be thick, like three or more inches. This is an heirloom piece, designed to be added to by my descendants.

The pages must be parchment, or other thick, durable paper.

I would prefer it to be bound like a regular book, but if anyone knows of a scrapbook-type thing where pages can be added, and still be really thick, that'll do as well in a pinch.

I would like it to be rather large...enough space to draw diagrams and insert things. I'm thinking 12" tall, by 9 1/2 to 10" wide.

The book needs to be durable. Again, this will be handed down (hopefully) through many generations, so I want it to stand the test of time.

If anyone knows of a resource, I would be very grateful.

Namaste,
Vivienne

Just a moment and I will post some links . These beauties can get expensive, but I believe there are a couple of vendors in my favorites list who had decent prices for an heirloom quality book.

Thank you so much for the links, Shalaye! They are lovely! And yes, some are a bit pricey, but for an heirloom piece, you don't want junk :)
