My first spell was on the night of my initiation (don't ask, it felt right), and the night before my dad's triple bypass. It was a healing spell. He was to have a single bypass and when they got in they realized they could make it a triple. He healed quickly and without complications, even though he's diabetic and is very prone to infections. Mind you now he needs a pacemaker because of another problem with his heart, 4 and a half years later, so I don't know if you'd call that a success or a failure.

lol I have been doing magic my whole life without realizing it! Can't really think of a first spell. I've just always been able when I felt the need was great enough to force my will on something. Imagine my surprise when I became a witch and found out that was the magic that everyone was talking about!

:) I know what you mean, Phoenix. Only when I actually began to investigate and later practice magick did I realise that, in fact, I've been doing it, in a subtle way, my entire life! I think some people just intuitively do so, not by any accident. But I still found my first spell a bit daunting... and old feeling and a new feeling wrapped into one.

my first spell was a healing spell as well. My supervisor's wife had gotten a terrible infection from a routine hospital visit. It was so bad, we thought she may die, but she didn't!!!! She did, however, lose use of her legs temporarily and had to go to a rehab hospital. This rehab, is located in my town, so my boss would be there every day to visit and stay with her. Well, I had just finished reading SC's Solitary guide, and felt that I could do a healing spell. It was a full moon, i took a purple canlde, my quartz crystal and went outside. I sent all the healing energy I could in the direction of the hospital. Two days later, Rose took two steps from the bed to the chair!!!!!!

I'm happy to say, 2 years later, she's fully recovered and still riding around in her hot little red mustang with the top down!

My first spell was a binding spell. This guy was going to reveal that my friend was gay to the whole entire school which is 1200+ people...Even though the guy had sexual relations with my friend in Mexico on a Presbyterian Church trip....That's how it all happened, they did something in Mexico and my friend wanted to take it further when they got home but this guy didn't want to...so he decided he wanted to tell the school. Whoa whoa...I tried to send the negativity back to him but it didn't work, so I used a binding spell and that knocked with off his keister!

Oh, sheesh. My memory sucks. Um....

I think it was a love spell, actually. Back at band camp (no 'one time, at band camp...' here, please...) there was this friend who currently was digging Wicca and he needed some help to get rid of this one girl who followed him everywhere. So he asked me and it didn't work woth a damn. I don't consider that my first, because I don't think either of us really believed in it, you know?

Other than that sorry excuse, I can't remember.

Gah! It was a million years ago, so I can't remember exactly.. I think it was a healing spell, but it didn't work worth... well.. you know what I mean. :lol: It just didn't work, but I don't think I was concentrating enough on what I wanted healed, so that's probably why it backfired on me. 8O

my first spell was a call me spell it was from silver ravenwolf's teen witch i'm not really shure if it worked right but here goes i tested it on my grandma i preformed the spell but i thought it didn't work but then the next day she called me to call me well i'm not shure if you would call that a sucess or not but i was happy and it felt so good to do something withcy i was always waiting for that moment :) :) :) :) :) :)

I have been doing magick stuff my whole life, from dypers and just never stopped, but my first formal 'spell' spell was um... well I am not proud of it but I cast a love/healling spell for my whole family before I read the 'ask permision' clause... :o It worked a bit too well... My sister stopped talking to my mother who was causing all sorts of problems in her life, my mother started taking her medications, my brother got the help he needed (after a nasty spell induced rock bottom :( ), they all were presented with a love that the spell asked for... Little did I know I was spacific about the names and I included my brothers without actually thinking that he would feel the effects but then my sister married a man by his name so it was like a 'holy crud muffens!' thing, he too is feeling the effects of this spell (with much the same results as my sisters), and she had her last kid... My other brother got married and is now seeking an education... My mother rejected the one that was presented to her, but hay live and learn... All of these changes started a day after the spell was cast and it is still effecting them 2 years later...

Oh god that wasnt my first one! Oh my first one was a year and a day deal, I demanded a million dollars be delivered on my doorstep every night for a year and a day (this was before I knew the significance of that time frame, I was 12-13 at the time) and at the end of the time my brother won a contest, he was to get 1 million dollars and all he had to do was send in the I accept thing (no joke no gimick it was the real thing, I checked with a lawyer and it was totally legal and all he had to do was send in the thing) but it all hinged on his choice and of course I didnt realize that while I was getting deeper into the magick he was getting way too involved with the church and... He said they were trying to make him greedy and threw out the confermation sheet!!! Oh I could have killed him for that! but thats free will for you...

Hmm, my first spell, so very hard to recall......


Well I have one that I can distinctly remember. At one point, I was very over weight and not in shape. I was sick of being teased, sick of being out of breath from climbing stairs, and sick of not being proud of myself. I, casted a spell to lose weight and to gain the body I wanted. Well soon there after I gained a lot of willpower from somewhere. I started lifting weights, doing cardio and eating properly. I lost around 80 pounds in around 7 months. Very fast. Then I got too thin, at 135 pounds. And I'm a 5'11 guy. My metabolism seemed to have been miracously changed. Whatever I ate, I didn't gain weight from. However once I got into lifting weights more I gained more weight and now weight 150 pounds. Which is healthy. I haven't got my ideal body yet, but I'm a work in progress.

This is also a note to everyone who wants to cast a spell to lose weight: be careful, very careful. It can & will work, sometimes a little too well.

I've been doing magic my entire life too without really realizing that I was doing it.

My first intentional spell was a "drawing" spell....to draw a loved one to me. Stipulating that if it was his will, he'd heed the call. It worked it purpose. He came back. We road the relationship rollar coaster as far as we could together until we both felt the need to move on. The ending was mutual and there was good closure there. We are friends now, and all is as it should be. I don't regret doing the spell.....and he didn't mind having it done on him, lol. I think everything worked out for the best as does he. We had some great times.....and of course some rough times....but I wouldn't trade the experience for anything. :D
