Where are you focusing your energy?

The intention of my spell tonight was to reduce Hurricane Rita's strength, but I'm wondering if I should have done something to protect the people fleeing instead. What is everybody else doing?

Yesterday,I focused my energies on weakening the hurricane and,as selfish as it may seem,protecting my uncle on his journey out of Houston. Tonight I will focus on weakening the storm some more and focus on trying to get my uncle further out of Ritas path as he is stranded now not too far north of Houston.
