Did we really land men on the moon or was it faked? Watched a
very cool movie about it on one of the scifi channels, and it raised some very interesting discrepancies. I would have said that we went there until I saw the show, and now am not sure.

Also, did anyone else see this, and what did you think if you did?

My husband has read alot on the topic. There are, or at least..used to be, many articles pertaining to the lunar landing conspiracy theory at www.rense.com

I've read them, and some of them did raise questions. However, I keep trying to verify their sources, and cannot. I can't seem to get credible sources about it. Articles written by Supposed Scientists..yes..but what are their credentials?

As I said, the articles I've read, raised interesting points, and questions. But, without being able to verify the credentials of the people raising the questions, thus far, I'm not going to write it off as a conspiracy.

I didn't see the documentary that you were talking of..but I've seen similar theories before.

the moon landing was real.

the landing site can be viewed from earth, by powerful telescopes. you can't see anything so small as a footprint, but the equipment they left behind is plainly visable!

Oh, great! The human race can now be known for it's garbage. Well... who is surprised by that?

Isn't there a movie called Capricorn One that is about simulating the moon landing?

The night they landed on the moon (or not) back in 1969 i was one of the few people in the western world who didn't watch it on tv. i went out and sat in a field and watched the full moon and apologized for my rude race. We didn't even bring back our litter. Eeeeps! bb talamh

If you could find some pictures and post them that would be cool, or a link to such photos. The documentary tells that no one can see the stuff on the moon, as one of their points. They also
claimed that we probably have sent unmanned stuff there, but
humans cant make it because of the van allen radiation belt that separates the distance. The shielding at that time period would have had to be a few feet thick.

The also interviewed Nasa scientists who called em liars basically,
but refused to answer certain questions and then got mad when
asked too, and just stormed out.

Another point they try to claim is that the 2 astronaught and Gus
Grissom were murdered because Gus was gonna blow the whistle

But the part that got my attention was the photography and
video points they made. In the films and photos you have
converging shadows which is impossible with only one light source
the sun. They took no exterior lighting with them, Nasa was firm
about that. Little clues in the films, letters on rocks, grid marks
that are etched on the lense covered with lanscape, impossibe,
unless Nasa is lieing about the grid marks and their purpose.

It is worth watching if you can find it in your video store. I am not
sold one hundred percent on the idea, but where before I did not
doubt, now I do.

Capricorn one is about the fake Mars landing.

Wow. How do you get around in life if you spend it looking backwards instead of fowards like the rest of us? Climb on board the Progress Train, it's going places!

I think that if these people are presenting valid points it matters not thier credential. Dont have to go to Harvard to be intelligent.

I think was explained due to the fact that you can have converging shadow on rugged terrain with lots of slops and edges to alter the plane the shadows are cast on to, making them to look as they converge.

Cat just wiped out whole response!!!! aargh!

here is the short version. Different planes can be measured using
formulae and scale of object pictured vs. the shadows. These did
not match up with one light source theory.

Go to some websites and look at some Nasa and others photos
of the lunar landing and stuff. You can tell which way most planes
of light should travel. As an artist, I have had to study color and
light refractions, how it travels and how to recreate it. I would
like a better explanation than the one given.

They also had very credible specialists, scientists, and Professors
(as well as a few nutbars) to back their questions. Mostly the
show just wants answers to a few specific questions. Lighting, Radiation, Photo discrepancies, and a coupla others.
