The third sounds almost perfect. I don't have class til 5 so that leaves me ample time to meet up with you lot. Assuming that date stays, I'm all for it. I can't remember the last time I met another Pagan.

Aww, that's cool. Lakeside Joondalup sounds great. I can just walk up to uni from there (or catch a bus if I'm feeling lazy.) 12 or 1 sounds good. Afternoon is always good. :D

Count both Rhyce and I in for Monday the 3rd. He doesn't know it yet, but I've just made plans for his Monday off. And Lakeside Joondalup food court is a perfect location.

:woot: More people to show off my pregnant belly too. Hey, I can even bring ultrasound pics if you like. And Rhyce's infamous photographic proof that he's going to have a son. Don't ask that was a weird day when we found out the baby was a boy.

Okay I'll stop rambling now.

I'd love to come.... Lakeside shopping centre is about five minutes drive from my house... and I don't think I've *ever* met another Pagan before.... :)

Yay! People! Sounds like fun. It'll be good to see you and Rhyce again, Ruby. The Pagans are coming to Joondalup. It's a good place for me too cos uni's just down the road. I can mess about before class at 5. I just have to remember to go to class. :P

Yeah, Joondalup's nice and central which is good. Evening classes suck, I'm so glad I'm free from this semester and was able to complete the remaining units early. Now I'm just waiting on my Diploma to come in the mail.

Hey, you reckon we can succeed in freaking out all the people in the food court. Cause I'd like to try.

Ooh, want me to wear my swishy black cape and come all vampire/gothy/freaky looking? All black with killer knee-high -- oh, I need to get them back off a friend. Damn I want those boots back now. Yeah. Black nails and everything. That'll be fun going to class looking like that! *evil grin*

*stamps foot* what a lovely day to be freaking pregnant.

Um ... Okay, well I'm just going to go shopping then ... :p

I could wear my tartan skirt and stockings and my knee high boots ... um, I wonder if that skirt will fit ... ooh wait it has a button on it ... which means I can make it fit (trusty little belly belt)

Ignore the ramblings of a pregnant woman ... I just hope its not too hot

Ah well, at least we'll be inside. Good thing about a shopping centre. We'll find out for sure closer to the day I expect. And on the day itself. :D

The only way I'd scare the other shoppers was if I brought my kids along *shudder*
(don't worry, it won't happen, have already informed the husband he is on kid-duty that day!!)

Oh, kebabs sound good. I've had their kebabs a few times. I'm getting rather familiar with Joondalup shops, actually. There's the Pure & Natural, the Gelare, there's a roast place, chinese, an Italian cafe, the Kebabs and possibly something else. And that's not in order, I know.

Well I woke up today - all excited - I was going to meet some MWers!! YAY!!!

I got myself ready and thought I'd turn up early, so that I was definately there when people arrived. I felt confident because I have already met RubyRose, Her partner Rhyce and Argento Occhi, and I had their phone numbers. I was sure that darastar would find us (I had been rather specific as to where we'd be).

Well on my way to Joondalup, I got a txt message from Ruby saying she was going to be late - that was ok. Then I got to the Kebab shop 15 min early. I saw a travel agent and though "I should get some info for my honeymoon to Egypt while I am waiting - it'll give me something to read." I got given some brochures and a business card.

I went back to the seat in front of the Kebab shop and went to put the business card into my card holder (which incidently was holding all of my money for the day) and it was GONE!! Talk about a panic attack. I prayed to Yinepu-Wepwawet, Satet and Amun-Ra and anyone else who was listening that it had fallen out of my bag into the car. (Because if it fell out after I got out of the car it was probably gone for good and if I left it at home I wasn't going to be eating lunch today). I walked all the way back to my car and thank goodness it was sitting there, baring all my money to anyone who cared to look (thank goodness no thugs decided to break into my car to get it). I decided to leave my brochures in the car, as it was almost time for the meet.

I got back to the kebab shop (with my money safely in my bag this time) and not soon after darastar came towards me. We'd never met before, forgot to give each other descriptions and didn't have any contact numbers, but we seemed to recognise each other. (maybe it's that - "I am waiting here for someone I don't know" look I try to put on). We started chatting to each other and becoming aquainted.

At 12.15 we began to wonder where Argento Occhi was and so gave her a txt msg asking if she was still coming. She didn't reply, but we kept talking. All of a sudden I saw this familiar looking pregnant girl heading our way (with her partner).. I thought - that could be RubyRose - I can't remember what she looks like anymore.

They (Ruby and Rhyce) decided to wait for us infront of the fish and chips shop (Hello!! I said Kebab shop!!) because there was these two people already sitting on the chairs infront of the Kebab shop (darastar and myself). I stood up and waved at them, and they recognised us and came on over.

We decided then, that we should go and sit at a table. Ruby then txt'd Argento to see where she was, and then phoned her (because I don't talk on phones) to discover her phone was turned off. My stomach then told me it was time to have lunch, so we ate, listened to Rhyce (who is one of the funniest guys I've ever met) and talked about everything (including disecting animals and fluffy bunnies). We also discussed what horrible things may have happened to Argento and started to get worried.

It was then time for darastar to do food shopping (the deal she made with her other half so he'd look after the kids) and then me to pick up my other half. We all said our good byes.

So...
Thankyou darastar, RubyRose and Rhyce for coming today.
Thankyou Rhyce for the great entertainment.

Argento Occhi -- where were you???

And finally - when should we make the next meet?

Signing off

So sorry I didn't get back to you. Day didn't quite go as planned. Woke up later than I had anticipated, around 1:30 pm, which I should've anticipated, considering I only got 2 hours sleep saturday night. Silly me. Then I had to eat and get ready to go to class, only realising at 3 that I had a test in class and I hadn't studied. Oh, yes, relatives turned up as well, completely unexpectedly. So, entertaining rellies on demand as well. They stayed about an hour. Then I was rushing around to get ready (cos everyting was everywhere but in my bag), have shower, rush up hill only to see bus go past at the top of the hill. Run back home (in boots), get brother to take me to Greenwood Station and get to Joondalup in time to buy ome credit on my phone, some batteries for my CD player, and a drink to get me through class and arrive 10 mins before we start the test. Talk about close calls. Got home around 8, watch a bit of TV, only now have some time to breathe and probably have some coffee. Or a hot Milo. I didn't have my phone on til I got to class, and I had no credit so I couldn't reply to your messages. I decided I'd wait til I got home when I could post here and let you know what had happened. *sighs* Sorry I missed you guys today. Hope you had a good time anyway. Stupid sleep. Stupid brain for deciding I needed sleep more than I needed to be up earlier than it wanted to be awake.

Yeah, hope to meet you next time as well. Maybe next time I won't have such a big sleep debt. *shakes head* Two hours sleep in 2 days isn't good. I'll try not to replicate that again. Nice to know you had a good time without me.

Well, since there's like 5 of us, we just suggest times and compromise until we reach a consensus. Tis that simple. :) Plus we all live in the same general area of Perth as well, so that helps too.

Well we've had it and it was good... We'll probably organise another one, and try and get more to come.

 Monday was cool. We should definitely do it again. Funny how I only ever here about all these strange and hilarious scout stories when there's company. Sometimes though, I just have to look at him and wonder what the hell he's been drinking. But like you said darastar, he definitely does make the rest of us seem normal. Which is surprisingly comforting.
