I was just wondering...Did anybody watch 20/20 the other night? They had a segment on hate crimes and they actually talked about the Tempest Smith case.

Yes, I saw that...so sad:( Her mother seemed to be handling the interview pretty well, considering. I hope she can find peace. I can't believe that Tempest's school mates had the nerve to send those cards to her mother...saying sorry...they should really have to live with their guilt. I never did understand how children could be so cruel and viscious. Even when I was a child I always tried to be the protector or defender of those who were picked on and abused by their peers. I still do this.

I agree, I can't believe that they had the nerve...but then again, they were insensitive enough to tourment her in the first place. It's beyond me as to how people can be that way too. :mad:

Wyrdsister, I don't know when the program will be re-aired, but you can try watching MSNBC...they tend to replay a lot the weekly magazine shows.
