Sometimes I am simply blown away by how blatant the Goddess can be! It will catch my breath- just the amazing things that come together for their own certain purposes.
I was recently in an Emergency Room for excrutiating pain and had to receive some shots of pain meds. I used to actually work in the same ER and had left since but had kept irrational fears of heavy pain meds over me. Silly, I know- but we all have our anxieties. So I was FREAKIN out about the pain shots- not from the pain of the shot (Goddess knows how much I was already in) but from the feeling of being snowed by meds.
My nurse was a man and had left to get the shots. In walks a nurse I had not seen before with the shots. She introduced herself to me and I figured my nurse had perhaps sent for a female nurse to give the shots in the bottom since I actually knew him.
It my haze of pain, I looked at this woman's hand to see a pentacle ring. I darned near fell out of the gurney. This town happens to be very conservative and in it is this well-to-do hospital. I would not have expected someone to brandish so bravely her faith but perhaps that's my own insecurities. I told her I liked her ring and she in turn told me she liked my neckalce- a small charm with the Goddess, the triple moon and a pentagram. We had that little connection I think Pagans have when they recognize one another.
My fears were instantly gone as I knew the Goddess had sent to me a fellow walker on her Path for comfort.
How cool is that?! I LOVE it!
I am curious to hear other stories about the Goddess blatantly touching your life at a certain moment or time.

'Bout 30 min ago a friend IMed me asking if I'd do a tarot reading for him. I haven't done a tarot reading for a while and had just been lazy 'bout getting started again, so I said I would, got up to look for my cards and found everything in the world I needed (including an ATM card I'd got in the mail and thought was junk mail (and had thus assured the bank I'd never got it) a book of short stories titled Maiden, Matron, and Crone, and had a couple books jump out at me). Guess it's time I got off my lazy *beep* and got myself together again.

Recently my fiancee had to go into hospital for chest pains. He's in the ER, waiting and waiting and waiting still more, feeling ignored and small and really crap, when a nurse comes in to check his BP. I should interject here that 1) Louisville is teeming with Gardnerians, and 2) he has his craft name in Theban on his wrist. Anyway, she's checking his BP, and says "You know *local HPS*, right?" He says "Yes. How do you know her?" She says "The same way you do, *calls him by his craft name* , and makes a tiny invoking pentacle in the air with the tip of her finger. It was terribly cute, and made him feel much better. Turns out she'd been to a handfasting he did years ago, and remembered him AND his name. It was nice have a similiar energy around.
