Are land-wights & elementals the same thing

To me this is kinda confusing a bit, are they the same thing or two separate types of beings?

What are they in relation to the fey?

From reading what was said about land-wights I have to say that I don't think they are the same thing as elementals. It didn't say that there are different types of land-wights, only that they inhabit everything. I could be wrong of course, or I could have misunderstood what I read. But, going off of what I do understand, I say that land-wights and elementals are different. I see land-wights as being more like nymphs or dryads or faeries that aren't attuned to a single element like elementals are.

Thanks, I think I'm starting to see the diference now. I think of them more as fae than elementals.

I believe that the difference between land wights and elementals is that elementals are creatures of insert element, but land wights are more like the guardians/inhabitants of whatever area they are in.
