Can someone help me figure out what my friend's necklace means?

Hiya... ive just been searching the net for this specific symbol for ages and come up with nothing. It certainly looks to me like a celtic knot perhaps representing a four-leaf clover - a symbol of good luck. The range of celtic knots is so varied that finding a specific design seems to be like searching for a needle in a haystack. Sorry if I was a little vague in my answer but I tried :)

Thats what i was thinking to .. it deffinatly looks clovery and celtic knotish. Perhaps a talisman to increase or draw good luck?

its definately a celtic knot...i have no idea what it means tho...i only know what sidhe knots look like! sowwie! :(
