I was just wondering what jewelry wearers here wear, exactly... Sure, some of the choices seem a little silly, but hey, you never know...

I, myself wear silver when I wear jewelry. I just think it's prettier, and there's none of that karat junk involved... But I have been known to wear plastic stuff on my wrists. :p And then there's my boyfriend who wears plastic stuff and spikes...

Actually, I have no clue why I posted this poll... :p

Most of my rings and necklaces are sterling silver (the necklace I wear all the time has a sterling silver crescent moon with a round rainbow moonstone), but my engagement ring is white gold with a diamond, and we want to get platinum wedding bands.

I wear mostly silver. But then again I don't wear much jewelery.
Just my pentacle necklace and maybe sometimes a ring.

I'm the same, AJ. I only wear my pentangle necklace anymore. I have a kick arse poison ring, but it needs a new pin...so until that gets fixed, I can't wear it. :(

But I do sometimes wear this plastic bracelet that I've had since I was four or five that is a bunch of bears and hearts that pop in place together... And I used to wear this plain sparkly plastic bracelet my boyfriend gave me...but it broke... :wah: Heh, luckily he hasn't noticed...

So...I really don't know why I put silver down...because I should have put more than one...

Gold most of the time. But I have a silver pentacle necklace and pewter pentacle earrings my youngest son gave me a couple of years ago. The pentacle earrings are kinda my everyday jewelry when I don't have to dress up. Funny, none of my Christian friends have never even noticed these earrings. They even dangle!:boing: :boing: :boing:

Don't worry about it. My mom's wedding ring stopped fitting after my little brother was born (13 years ago) and my dad just noticed she wasn't wearing it on Friday. 8O
I voted for anything with spikes. Spikes rock you can poke people with them. Very good with submissive guys. ;)

I put one or more because I wear everthing... silver, gold, plastic, and even tho I don't own any spikey stuff, I think it's cool. I seen this awesome necklace that was almost chain-like with spikes where it connected at Claires. I'm gonna get it when I have an extra $10 on me when I'm at the mall. :)

Well....all of my "craft" jewlery is silver. Meaning, my pentacle ring and neclace..... I have a gold necklace with a diamond that my dad gave me (wanted to be the first guy to give me a diamond....awwww :)), and my engagement/wedding ring is gold with 7 diamonds..... and I have gold and diamond earings....

When I'm choosing jewlery for myself I choose silver, but everyone else gets me gold, go figure.

Sterling silver. My wedding ring is silver w/ back hills gold. What a great combo. Black hills is the only gold I will wear. I just love the look of silver (plus it is way cheaper than gold)

Heh! Spikes are dangerous! My boyfriend wears a spiked bracelet, and he always manages to stab me with them somehow... :ugh: It's like he'll go to hug or kiss me and it's just like *POKE* :p Eh, but a lot of the time he feels bad enough about it that he'll take them off. I don't really want him to, I like them, and they look good on him...

I wear anything that looks nice. Currently I wear a silver pentacle w/an amythest in the middle pendant on a black cord and a gold necklace w/a gold hear and a tiny diamond in the middle, that Eshallet gave me for my birthday last year.

I also wear a gold ring, with a heart shaped pink tormalene and a tiny diamond chip on the side. Also a gift from Eshallet from last Christmas.

That's about it for now. Wonder what if I'm gonna get any more jewlery from Eshallet this year?

I wear all silver, except for my wedding rigs and anniversary band, which are gold. Everything else is silver. And I have to wear only sterling or 14k gold or I break out in a terrible itchy rash. Severe contact dermatitist!

I used to wear spikes in the 80's. :D

But on the topic I like to wear silver mostly I have one gold ring that is my daughter's pride but that's it! Oh and I wear a plastic neckalace that looks like a tattoo(it's supposed to)

I put down one or more because while I mainly wear silver, I also wear a lot of other things. Of the metals, I like silver and copper the best. My wedding ring is white gold. Yellow gold has a strange vibration to it, so I don't wear it very much.

I make jewelry, beaded, wire, macrame, etc. and use a lot of different materials. It is interesting to see how a certain material behaves when you are working with it.

I like rings.. gold looks better on me.. but i don't like its superficial and commercialized-ness.

I like sparklys.. but i hate diamons *for the same reason as gold*

So i like what is pretty..
And uncommon.
And delicate.

I like original peices.. one of a kinds.

I make my own necklaces and such with beads. I sell them occaisionally, but i pretfer to make them per order as gifts.
If i meet someone i can usually make a fitting piece or jewelery.
I've gotten into using semi precious stone beads.. the more natural than finished\tumbled\cut ones.

My personal style: Think Audrey Hepburn

Why am I saying all this: I turn 20 Jan 1st. *winks*

I don't like yellow gold, though I have gotten some yellow gold pieces as gifts. (I don't like diamonds either)
Platinum's nice, but far to expensive for me.

And spike's are always in style. ;)

Ah, Plastic :D Sorry, it's just I was just thinking about the plastic :D I really should've voted More than one (whoops, it appears on the poll I put it as One or More... :bug:)

Anywho, I have like, 3 plastic bracelets I randomly wear. Dunno if I posted about it already, but I have this plastic cat bracelet...it's a bunch of little plastic cats and hearts that pop together that I've had since I was like, 3... and then there's this orange plastic tube bracelet with lots of watery glitter...and then there's the platic glittery bracelet my boyfriend gave me, but it's broke right now, I have to glue it...

I have a pretty, celtic-looking silver pentacle necklace and a silver heart anklet I wear from time to time...

Now that I think about it, I wear more than I thought I did...

silver and stones, I wear a beautiful silver ring with three black stones set in it. I have a necklace (choker) of the same stone that I love, I have a ring of that stone on a necklace, I just really like that stone i guess. I cant remember the name but it is a shinny reflective black that is was called volcano spit by the aztecs... Christmas sucks! I have to buy every one else stuff during the short time the good stores are in town, otherwise I would have alot more bead, although the one bead bracelet I have I love to death, it is bone skulls and volcano spit. The one peice of gold that I have (I dont like gold but I really like eagles) I cant wear cause I have nothing to wear it with! I am going to have to use it as an altar peice but it is so pritty I dont want to mess with it. Interestingly enough all my jewelry comes from the same store, that I cant shop at. I also have some obsidian that I am trying to work with, but nothing seems to want to cooperate.

I usually wear Silver or Pewter. Though I do have a bronze pendent. My pentagram neclace is silver, with a aluminum chain. I also have a silver pentagram ring, and a bronze pendant with a dragon on one side and the Green Man on the other. Hmmm, so I guess I lean more to anything silver in color.

I lost the plasitc cat bracelet (that's the plastic one mentioned above, they're cats, not bears, and I found out from my mom that it's older than I am)... boohoo...

So my friend Diana made me a bead choker since I had lost it. :)

I've begun wearing all three rings I own again. One's a butterfly with turquoise wings, one's my poison ring (fixed it :p) and one's the drama Tradgedy and Comedy masks. All are silver...

I wear a little of everything, but I prefer copper. I just like how warm it looks. I have rings, bracelets, etc.
I have this really neat neck torque based on an ancient Celtic design I got at the gift shop at the Roman Baths in Bath, England. It's copper in a twisted design with silver knobs at the end that have Celtic knotwork on them.
I get questioned about wearing copper for arthritis often. "Duh..yeah. Thay's why I wear copper earrings. I have arthritis in my ear-lobes!"
I've been looking for copper ear-cuffs. Has anyone ever seen any? If you have, please let me know!

True confessions time, I have this thing about rings. Even as we speak, I'm wearing 7 of them and have worn as many as 9 at one time. All of the ones I wear are silver except one thats bronze. The only reason that I have a bronze ring is because its a 2,000 year old Roman Legionaries ring that I got at eBay. Its an Aegis ring which symbolises the cloak the legionairies wore to protect them from the elements. I have an ancestor who was probably a legionary in the 1st Cent. and I thought it would be cool to have one of these. Who knows? Maybe it was his? It was found at the site of an army camp with a hoard of rings, and a retired archeologist friend dated it to between 100BC-100 AD, definitely pre-christian, which works for me. Apparently, they took their rings off before going into battle and buried them to be picked up later, and sometimes that didn't happen. There were silver rings, though much rarer and much more expensive, but out of my price riange. Its a really nice ring though. I won't bore people with more details about it though. I mostly wear silver because I like it a lot more than gold, and of course, they are less expensive... lucky. Oh, I also have a silver pentacle and a silver pendant I made for ritual, its a copy of Aqua Sulis, from a carving they found in the Roman Baths in Bath, England. I saw the original and HAD to have one. I did it in repousse' work, with the eyes open, set with garnets so light shining through them makes the eyes glow red. Some of my rings are set with stones, Garnets and Lapis Lazuli. I love rubies, but again, cost is a factor, garnets work for me, and I've always loved Lapis. Sorry to run on...
