Feeling way sad right now. I have depression. Basically what happened is a few weeks ago I tried one puff of weed with my boyfriend. Anyway, I had a drug test yesterday and I am scared it will come back positive. It was for a job I really want. If it does my mum will ban me from seeing my boyfriend and will think I have actually been doing drugs which I haven't. Right now the worry is killing and destroying me. I can't eat, I lost like 4 pounds, I can hardly sleep and I cry all the time. Yesterday I took a razor to my wrist too. My spells aren't even helping.
Just needed someone to listen. I want to die kind of right now. I can't stand the pain and fear. It's all I can think about. Losing the person I love more than life.

Hi there. You need to relax. If you did the weed a couple weeks ago, it shouldn't show up in your test. That stuff is usually out of your system in about 2 days. I think your test will be fine.

If you only had one hit, it most likely wont show up in your urine. If you got a head change at all, its possible, but still not likely. If it comes back with traces, your best bet is to say you were at a friends house, and were unaware of their activities untill after the fact, or just tell the truth. Honesty is the best policy.

honey, one puff should not show up on a drug test. You would have to have more than just that to fail a test. A long time ago I had some pot and then got hired pending a drug test. I was worried just like you and I didnt have much either, and passed. The important thing to do is to eat and drink water. This will help flush some of the remaining toxins out. But I can tell you that it should not come back positive. Be strong hun, you will be fine.

Try not to worry. I know, easier said than done :awwman: , but until the test comes back, there's not a whole lot you can do. I agree, one puff weeks ago should'nt show up, so don't stress over it.
As far as the depression goes, if it does not lift after this stress is gone, you should go to your parents and get treatment before it gets worse-and NO MORE razors blades. Heck, you just joined us, we don't want to loose you! :rubhead:

It is unlikely one puff will show up on a drug test.

A drug test for employment is confidential. Your results will not be on public record and there isn't a reason your mother should have access to them. If you don't get the job it's up to you to explain. I don't know your mother, but have you considered talking to her about your stress and depression? She's probably worried about you.
Hang in there! :hugz:

I agree, try not to worry about this test. I agree with the others. It's unlikely your test will be positive.
I am sorry you're feeling full of sadness and worried.

Weed doesn't stay in your system for a few weeks. If you have been honest with us here about your pattern of usage, you should be okay on the test.
If you're in a situation where you can expect random testing, however, the correct answer is don't use.

Bless your heart,Im sorry I missed you yesterday,
I will pray for you,and I know things will work out for you.
You will however face hard times in life ,from time to time,so be prepared to endure them, and no relationship in this life,is forever,we all part ways sooner or latter.
Also ,you are never alone,God is always near. And willing and able to help in your hour of need.No he doesnt always give us what we ask,but does give us what we need. And he upholds those who are cast down. His love for you is eternal.
I will pray for you.

Spells most likely won't work when your distraught. You need to get your head right first. Try asking for guidance. :huddle:

Amazing how a guilty conscience can punish us, isn't it?
The answer is just don't do it and you will have no cause for worry.
If your boyfriend does not respect and support your decision to act according to your own good sense and best interests, it is time for another boyfriend!

Komban wa to andiethegoodwitch-San (bowing politely):
I think that Chronic Depression is caused by the Evil Spell of Theological and Phiosophical Beliefs in Life Supposing to be Perfect and that all Mankind being Created in a Godlike Image.
Please check out my thread: http://www.mysticwicks.com/showthread.php?t=81274 (http://www.mysticwicks.com/showthread.php?t=81274)
I feel that when such Philosophies are taught to People when they are Small Children and then when Life is Not Perfect as such misguided Biblical Prophesies Promised, one tends to feel let down and one gets Depressed!
Just Ground your Excessive Emotional Energies and you will be fine.
