Probably because most all things related to money and wealth are of the element of earth, which would require a lot of work in the physical realm. The element of earth can be very difficult to get moving. It is very stationary, and sometimes requires a lot of physical work to get it to budge. Working money magic won't necessarily work so well alone on the spiritual realm. Making money actually requires physical work. Sometimes hard work. You can do a spell to aid your endeavor, but you may have to actually *gasp* DO something in this physical realm to make it work.

I never have any problems with prosperity workings....and they're probably what I do the most often. If you're doing a spell just for money, that's only half of the equation, IMO.

Love always works.. Prosperity ? my theroy is you are doing it for yourself usually then others so it the personal gain thing that is why it is so hard!

If it's just for personal gain or greed, and you just sit there and wait for it it's not going to work. Really, cash isn't just gonna start falling into your lap!

Should try a spell or a ritual to get a good job... or a better position at work... and then... *gasp* look for a job, or put in a little extra effort, and your magic will be just the boost you need! :)

well. money/job spells are the ones that work best for me. the last one a did i requested a spell where i could have a part time with 2 days off, that would tolerate my clothing style, and where i would make 400 euros a month...i got just that a week after i did the spell...i cant say i have the same luck with love or anyother kind of spell :/

It's better to do magic for what you need, not what you want. No one really *needs* a million dollars. You *could* do magic to try and get it, but you are going to have to work REALLY hard to get that million dollars.

My understanding of making magic work in the physical world is that it has to have a foundation to work on. The magic is done on a nonphysical plane. For it to have a physical effect there has to be some way for it to transfer from the nonphysical to the physical, something for the energy to grab onto. So if you're doing magic for money, there has to be a real way for that money to come to you. For example, millions could come to you if you are currently capable of working some sort of million dollar deal through your career or stocks or something like that. If you're depending on a lottery to bring you millions, that's not much of a physical foundation for the magic to work on and it most likely won't work.

I've had a bit of luck with the "I need money now" spells, without actually getting a job. But there has to be a damn good reason for it, i find. You've got to actually need the money. The one i use works by encoraging people who don't need money drop it on the ground randomly, (usually in the form of $2 coins, lol.) and reminding people who own me money to pay me back. You don't get a lot of money in this way though. You get enough to pay for what you need and no more. I don't feel guilty using this form of spell because when i have the resources I go out of my way to help people, so i feel it balances out.

I have trouble with love spells, but i think maybe that's because at the time i didn't think i was worthy and i was afraid of what would happen if the spell(s) actually did work. (I was a tad fridget, i admit).

Is is possible that peoples individual elemental asociations might have something to do with this? Like water people having a better grip on love spells where air people might do better with communication spells? .. just a thought..

This is something I have done recently. I made a pouch( color green for money). Inside it I have lodestones and a lucky coin and some herbs and an apache's tear. I keep the magic for this bag fed by using the smoke of incense once a week. I carry it to work with me in my pocket. Right before I go in to work I say magic bag hear my plea , You know my needs make a way for these needs to be met. What ever amount of money I have need of that day in tips always comes to me.Today was a very slow day but I managed to get like 30% tips instead of the usual 15 to 20%. Yes I had a major need today and it was met. I never worry since the bag was designed to make sure I have enough to pay my bills and live on. :tarotwitc

I think emotion is the driving factor to success in magick...my opinion only. :)

Anyhow..money is general. When your hungry you may think I need money but what your true desire is, is food. If that force of hunger is used equally with the hunger for food, I believe food would be found.

If its rent money thats needed, its a better job thats wanted. But how to pin point that exact emotion to the exact result? Thats hard. But its doable.

Money is just not attached in a particular way to a particular emotion.


Plus one more factor...an individuals journey of experience and learning. Struggling may be what you need to experience a learning you can not get any other way. Reasons are there, even if we do not know what they are.
You cant change something thats meant to be for whatever reason your spirit needs it to be the way it is.
Thats why I think some people are seemingly overly lucky. They have very strong emotions and particular desires that match those very intense emotions and as a result, they can fall in a pile of goop and come out ahead!

To get the heart, thought, emotion, idea, all in since at the same high intensity is what i feel cause some magick to fail.

Thats why I cherish and embrace every one of my emotions..they are the energy for manifestation. And thats why I am careful with them too!!

Being a Cancer, if the theory held true, then I'd be more expert at spells involving emotions...but thos are spells that I personally would avoid like the plague. When it comes to emotions, there's too many opportunities for life lessons to manifest for me to want to tweak outcomes. Then again, in my training, a witch should be capable of working equally with all elements instead of being out of balance towards one above others.

He is working full time right now, and I have been interviewing ever since we have been in our new place. And hopefully I will get the position I just interviewed for ::crosses fingers::. But I was wondering if any of you have any suggestions for me?

I havn't had issues with money spells. A simple chant and green candle. works wonders.

last one I did involved a poppet, and not even a chant. Less than a week later, I had the money that I needed... to the dollar.

Determine exactly what you want to be doing the magical working for. Get the proper color candle, some appropriate herbs for insence. Write a simple chant. You can also do a poppet. Cord magic also might be a good one. :)

Well I have learned that the reason why money spells don't work is because more often than not money is an end in itself. Obviously sometimes it is but let say you needed food. If you did a spell for food someone could donate some to you. One should do a spell for the goal itself and let the gods/spirits/universe decide how it will manifest.

I find when you try to do a spell for things that you don't really need, it doesn't work. Greed can get to many of us at times but remember one thing that it can also backfire on you and leave you with nothing. Everyone would love to get a million, but try for something for less and it might just work.

Why do money spells not work?

1) You're not skillful or strong enough to bring the desired results to fruition.
2) The results that occured were not what you expected.
3) You're not supposed to have a crapload of money. Having a crapload of money WILL affect the karmic lessons you're supposed to learn. If having a lot of money will take you from your intended path, you won't get that money.

Romani, you are absolutely correct. I haven't done a prosperity/money spell in quite a long time, but the last one I did that was successful was using a green candle, some coins and a simple chant.
