Greetings to all.
I am new to this forum and just beginning my journey with sekhmet. I have been searching for information about the Goddess' sacred plants, animals, colors, planets, jewels, and her sacred feasts without much success. If anyone has some information I would be extremely grateful.
Thanks for allowing me to join the forum. I hope to enjoy reading the posts and continuing to learn and grow along my journey.

Tons of Sekhmet links coming up! I'll get them for you :)
I'm suprised you couldn't find anything! There are so many resources out there! I got all these links by searching Yahoo.
I've read all about Sekhmet a few years ago, here are the many sites I read. I recommed you read them all. There is useful info and tidbits in them all-- info, prayers, and rituals. I took notes on each one and then compiled it all info one document.

I think that should be enough for now, lol. There are more links though.
You might also want to check out the Kemetic Orthodoxy-- www.kemet.org (http://www.kemet.org)
I just finished their Beginner's class (it's free) and it is great if you are interested in Kemetic Reconstruction. They have a forum there and everyone is nice and help ful :)
And just to clarify some things because some sites are inaccurate... Bast and Sekhmet are not sisters in the good/bad - dark/light sense. Yes, they are both shown as felines, but so are a lot of Goddesses. All the Kemetic Dieties are connected to one another, but Bast-Sekhmet aren't in the sense that a lot of books say. Also, in the Destruction of Mankind story, it was Sekhmet that was the fiery Eye of Ra, later on Sekhmet was turned into Hathor. So they are connected.
Good luck and have fun reading, I know I did. :)

i have read thru most of the sights and still have yet to find much of the information I am seeking especially about Sekhmets feast days and their meanings. Most of the information in the sights is about her killing anger and how she was stopped. Most of the sights are not including the indepth information that I need to find as I continue to work with Sekhmet. I would still greatly appreciate any help especially from any who have worked with Sekhmet in the past or who are now working with her.

"During the Old Kingdom, just after the mummification process was completed, dances were performed by a specialized group of ladies known as "the acacia house". Their function seems to have been the appeasement of the dangerous lion goddess Sekhmet and the rejuvenation of the dead. They were responsible for mourning the dead, but also celebrating the regeneration of the body. The dancers performed what is termed the "offering table" dance, which lured the dead, born to a new life, to his first meal. However, there were variations of this dance that did not always include the ladies of "the acacia house". There are scenes depicting other groups of women and even men, and a range of dances, particularly during the Old Kingdom, that are loosely associated with the dead sitting at an offering table. A group of dance performers known as the hnrt are known to be associated with childbirth ceremonies, but might have also been associated with funerals in helping the deceased enter a new life."

"During the Festival of Sekhmet, men and women freed themselves of all unpleasant feelings, resentment, and repressed, angry passion by drinking great quantities of wine. The white wine of Lower Egypt was the Wine of Bast; the more potent blood-red wine of Upper Egypt was called the Wine of Sekhmet. Similar festivals of Sekhmet were celebrated at the end of battle, in order to pacify the Goddess of War, so that there would be no more destruction. On such occasions, people danced and played music to soothe the wildness of the Goddess."

Humm, I find that interesting because from all those sites and more I learn all I needed to about Sekhmet. There are facts and tidbits within the repeative summaries in those sites--which is why I gave the advice of reading them all and taking notes.
Some of the things you want to know: sacred plants, animals, colors, planets, jewels, and her sacred feasts are either right in front of you or something that you and your relationship with her will reveal. For example, no where is it listed that Anubis likes candy, yet there are those on MW that will tell you he does-- how do they know? Trial and error, offering and seeing if he likes it. That may be what you have to do. Also the ancient Egyptians didn't always have the correspondences that are see in Wicca and paganism now, some Netjeru had a sacred plant [Like Wadjet and the papyrus, she is said to have created them] but not all of them did.
Here are things that I have learned from her--
Animals sacred to her: lions and by extention cats.
Colors: Sekhmet represents the firey noon sun, her colors would be associated with that as well as her actions: reds, oranges, yellows-- warm colors, colors of heat and passion....
close your eyes and picture her: what colors are around her? What colors do you feel?
Planets: From my knowledge the Egyptians did not link a specific Netjer to a planet like in other pantheons. My guess could be Mars as Mars is linked to the God of War. But that's Roman, not Egyptian and therefore may be irrevelant. The Egyptians may have thought of Mars as something else than the Roman view. I don't like to use the correspondences of pantheons outside of the Diety that I am working with.
Jewels: This could be something that you learn, look a some jewels do you feel her power there? Which ones seem to say "Sekhmet" ? I always associate the Ruby with her-- life, death and rebirth, anger and passion, etc.
sacred feasts:

Ptah, got you the details of some, but for many festivals and things it is not really known.
My advice to you is to talk to her, ask her what she likes, mediate with her, listen to her in your everyday life-- does something seem to say "Sekhmet"? Does something remind you of her? Pay attention to dreams, sudden thoughts and such things.
She will tell you all you need to learn, I know from experience.
Try asking on www.kemet.org (http://www.kemet.org) and they may help you, especially if you are interested in Reconstructionalist Kemetics.
