Tonight, I tried meditation for the first time I can remember. While it was great, I got stuck and Dextra had to help pull me out. :bigredgri
How many of you remember your first time meditating and getting stuck?

If I ever got stuck, I would surely drown.
I practice an old Zen form of meditation you might want to try.
Visualize yourself at the bottom of a VERY clear pond.
Notice that, like the fish, you can breath underwater.
Concentrate your worries into your lungs.
Look up and visualize letting out an air bubble.
The air bubble holds your worries.
Watch as it travels to the top and bursts.
Your worry is gone!
Do this about 15 to 20 minutes a day. You will be surprised at the energy this gives you. And, the ability to see and hear things you normally wouldn't.

Zen. Now there's something that I've always been interested in. Of course, Far Eastern philosophy has always intrigued me.
Thanks.

I practice Kundalini meditation. It is based upon the body's Chakra points. I find it quite refreshing and helpful.

Chakra is great too. I got a tape to help. It helped but the back-ground music was really annoying. I still practice without the tape though.
Carmelo, would you like the tape - if I can find it?
