View Full Version : just feeling all peaceful and moonstruck

I don't have a lot or anything really important to say, I just was in my office downstairs (in the basement) and was climbing the stairs and saw through the window on the back door, my Lady the Moon shining so brightly. Tomorrow she's full and I was just so captivated by her beauty it filled me with such peace and happiness that I wanted to share it with any and all who happen by. I have been having stress in my life ad nauseum as have most of my friends and loved ones and so I didn't want to let this moment pass by with out recognizing just how truly blessed I am. With my family and friends, with the Goddess and all that is hers and with the community here at Mystic Wicks. There have been so many who have helped me out just by sharing information or a piece of their lives. For that I am grateful.

and I have a 5 year old. It's sometimes hectic but what a wild ride, huh?

I love when she shows her full face, it is very comforting to me, like a Mothers arms..

That was beautiful, thank you! *sighs* I miss my Momma Moon...the clouds have been here with the fog for several nights running...tho she was shining high in the sky over the Western sealine at about 6 a.m. this morning...that was beautiful, if incomplete, to see with the clouds only letting enough of her shine to illuminate the ocean below.

I feel exactly the same way...we have no curatins in our bedroom and it has a east and north facing bank of windows so I get to go to sleep and wake up to the moon and sun. Makes a huge difference in the way I feel spiritually and physically and emotionally and mentally (and...uh...are there any other ways?...) anyway...yes! with out a doubt...I feel safe in the arms of my Lady.

i know exactly what you mean. the pull was so strong for me that i just went and laid down in my backyard and watched her acend, and start to decend before i got cold and went back in. it was a very good thing, i needed to ground myself anyway and i felt cleansed when i went back into the house
