Hugged by a deity???

Just wondering if anyone else has had this experience; I think I may have been hugged by Djehuty last night but you know I'd like to see if it's even possible before jumping to (happy hyper) conclusions. ;)

Oh, I've had Sebek hug me before hon. Tis a wonderful thing to experience. But then, Sebek has shown me how much He loves me, so I'm kinda used to the show of love He gives. Weird for a crocodile God, hey? Cute and cuddly? You better believe it. Djehuty's not so much hugged me as been around me. Same with Aset too. So, yeah, it is possible, hon.

Of course it is possible I have been hugged by Fenris, and Zephyros and Persephone too.

Oh definately. Bast has often hugged me when I've needed it, and her lap is always a good place to go and cry when you need someone to care. I've found these things to happen more now that I don't presently live w/ any kitties :( (though i hope to change that soon :)). When i lived at hom (w/ my cats) they always made things better, I hugged & petted them, they were/are Bast incarnate here on earth.

Yup, I think it is possible. Saraswati has done that to me before...and I felt a warm rush of energy envelope me. :). It was a nice comforting feeling....I miss that :foh:

I thought maybe I was imagining it or crazy when I felt like I was being hugged. Or just something or something rubbing my face or my hair when I was down and needed love. It is good to know it wasn't just my imagination and that it is very real. I thank everyone here for their input here.:dancy:

I think i was hugged by Lilith once, it felt good and very comforting especially considering what was happening at the time, i'm going to try and create an altar to her as soon as i can as well as to some other deities that have helped me.

And when you feel yourself loosing you faith and doubting they are there, remember that moment and cherish it, and that should remind you of their love for you :)

I completely believe that you can be hugged by a deity. Once it felt like Athena put her hands on my shoulders. I got that same feeling as a hug.
