the Australian dream time

I was wondering what everyone new about it. I've been trying to do some reasearch on the web because of a discussion me and my husband were having about it but all I kind is dream info, which is not what I'm looking for. So any help would be appreciated.

And I hope this was te right forum.

Try using australian aboriginies or aboriginal beliefs as your search words.

Briefly:

The "dream time" refers to the time before recorded or remembered history.

In the aboriginal cosmology, there are sacred rocks and canyons that are inhabited by the gods. It was during the dream time that these gods created the earth, and brought forth man from the earth.

hmmm... i will have to check those links too.

i'm reading Tad Williams: Otherland series... and part of the plot involved an austrailian serial killer using myths related to the dreamtime as part of his like.. serial killer thing.
