How big are they?
Has anyone seen those Little Big Books series that you find in book stores? I bought one yesterday that comes with a complete teeny tiny deck of 78 cards. The cards are about 3/4 inch by 1 inch. I haven't looked at the cards yet...they're sealed in the box. It's going to be a little gift for a tarot reading friend. I'm tempted to go & buy one for myself. :D

Aren't they neat! Just be careful when you shuffle them - they're easy to bend. I shuffle in 3 sections, then put them together. I've never been able to swish them around on a table to shuffle - not organized enuf for me. And if you got them in the cardboard box (not the keychain ones) - one or two can slip out of the box once the box is a little bent.

Summary of deck:
Another of the several re-coloured versions of the Rider-Waite Tarot deck. Pamela Colman-Smith's artwork is copied exactly and re-coloured. There are several similar tarot decks, but this one is loudly coloured, sometimes garishly so. The red or orange skies look a little strange.
Summary taken from: http://www.aeclectic.net/tarot/albanowaite/index.html

Oh, the cards are smaller than that! :D I bought that exact book for a tarot-reading friend of mine too! (Sorry Raevyn, it's not you, but I got you something else for Yule! ;)) They are miniscule! I have no idea how you'd use them for a spread - maybe you'd have to deal them with tweezers!! :D
I also have a mini deck - I think it the Universal Waite deck? I'll have to look it up, but the cards are maybe an inch wide and 1.5 or 1.75 inches long (???). Don't trust those numbers; I'm a metric grrl!

You're right...they are smaller. I still haven't decided if I'm going to keep them or give them away. :D
