Yeah...its weird...it looks like a little hooded guy

or like a little action figure...I have no idea!

I snapped a bunch of pics of my 3 cats but that was the only one with a weird thing in it

I didn't even notice it until tonight...I took them last week...I tried blowing it up, but I still couldn't tell what it was....

I get affects similar to that with my Polaroid. I just chalk it up to bad film. (old, or the chemicals are "wrong" for developing properly) ....but that is just my theory.

....although the foggy one is awesome! I haven't gotten that affect yet! ;)

Well that would be the -logical- answer wouldn't it? Except for the fact that most of the photographs I take with this camera, even ones I've taken in the same room often standing in the same spot and taking a picture of the same thing have turned out like normal. Also the fact that it's happened with a pic or two from various rolls. Oh that and several of my Pagan friends have sat down with them and pointed out the energies and spirits in them, and taken similar pictures with other cameras. :)

I can see that too.....the logical part of me is arguing the mystical part of me! (hate it when that happens!)

I think the polaroid pictures are just packed together.....it doesn't mean that all of them could be bad. (Like what if someone touched the chemical backing thingy or something....and introducted salt to the process?? ....just a silly thought....moving on)

I have a camera that seems to like to take pictures with a light ray foggy type image coming into the picture. I'll attach it.

I can't seem the photo that I had of my holding my son when he was about 2 or so....we were inside and that same light was in the picture....only .....there's a wall and a shelf where the light is coming from. ....nothing really "reflective" there. So, we just like to think that that camera has a way of capturing the "Guardian". This lighting has been seen mostly in the pictures that my son are in....though we do have one that was of my little niece.

Xois...my first reaction when I saw the picture of your "hooded guy"...that's one possibility. But..Might I ask what era your house was built on..or if you've checked into the history of the house, at all?

Two other possibilities I see, and the second one totally gives me the creeps..but...

1. A woman in colonial/pioneer clothing. Complete with Bonnett. You just can't see the face (in which case, she'd probably have been wearing a cloak, too.

2) this one gives me the shivers. Think Elizabethan. Think Anne Boleyn (not that I think it's anne boleyn).

It seems like one of those elizabethan era dresses, with the huge Collar on the back..only...no head. Look at the chest on the figure. It definately looks female to me, unless the ghost had its' arms crossed over its chest inside the robe.

By the way...reset your shields, if you are into shielding :)

In that photo as in the rest I have but can't find at the moment....the light is stronger near the top of the picture and fades into the picture. ....and it doesn't seem to matter if the picture was taken in the standard position....or turned on end. (portrait vs. landscape) Cool huh??!!

As much as I'd love to think that some sort of weird ghost is popping up in those pictures, I'm gonna have to offer an opposing perspective here.

Whatever it is it looks an awful lot like metal. Have a look at how the light reflects off of it. In the second picture there's a gold thing behind it. That looks like a latch or a belt buckle type thing.

Could you post a few of the pics that don't have that thing in them? Maybe that would help.

Either that or the Grim Reaper has shrunk himself down to a little smaller than a cat and is wandering about your house. ^_^

Last Samhain, My Husband And I took a walk bye the old cemetery just down the street from us. We stood at the gate, and snapped a few pics, wondering if something would show up.
Check out the upper Right Hand corner of this photo, right above the rusty fence. We have NO clue what that was.. There were no tree's around that particular point in the cemetery. Just graves.

You can't touch the backing, due to the way the camera works. :D

ok, I figured out the little hooded guy...the buckle thing set me off...is the side of my soft-sided breifcase! Phew

I was so freaked out last night that I coudln't go to the bathroom in the middle of the night...

But the orb in the tree is still unknown :)
