See, I decided to buy gifts for Samhain for my friend and bf. My friend is a buddhist who is starting to explore paganism. He also like to work with spirits, and so I went out looking for a gift for him yesterday, and finally found it in an indoor swapmeet. There was old guy, and I asked him if he knew where i could buy a bell, we talked for a few minutes, and I was beginning to think I wouold have to go elsewhere, we stopped and studied each other for a minute, and I finally decided to specify, which i have an odd feeling was what he was waiting for me to do. So I blurted it out, "I'm looking for a Tibetan Spirit Bell." To which he nodded, and showed me several bells from big bells one could hang outside the house, to smaller hand held bells, I perchased one with those coin swords, mantras, and a turtle on top, since my friend is very fond of turtles. For an amazingly affordable price, (I wasn't trying to be cheap about it, but when you've only got 12 dollars to spare well...) $7.99 he said it was for luck and protection. That's not bad is it? For my bf, i got him something different, I got a blue dragon figurine, who was lying in a supine position, and swigging a mug of coffee. I am sure someone will probably scoff at me for that. Since a dragon figurine swigging coffee has nothing to do with Samhain, but the way i see it, since my bf is just getting himself out of a sticky situation, and rather swiftly, I figured it would perk him up. Make him grin, or groan, or even both! My bf loves dragons, the color blue, and drinks coffee like there's no tomorrow! It was perfect! Too perfect to almost be true! i had to do a double take! See when i try and buy gifts for people, I take all the things that they like and see if I can find a perfect match. I hit extra lucky this time around. i suspect that buying gifts for others at Samhain isn't a traditional thing to do, but well its what i felt like doing, since one is starting to celebrate it, and the other already does. I don't celebrate Samhain I guess because I just don't. But I am glad that I found two perfect gifts for them.

Those sound like cool gifts. I've always bought presents for my kids for Halloween even before I was Pagan
