Has there been any news about the art classes here? I can't remeber who started the last discussion, or find the thread either.
Does anyone remember?

thanks for the link hymnia
yeah i haven't been around much
still feeling a bit ostrasized if you know what i mean
been mostly working photography and pixel art (quite the combination), but pixels don't seem to be quite well thought of around here unless they are blinkies and have a purpose to someone's signatire etc
photography is just tooo big to deal with on a 2.3kbps (max) dialup connection
anyways thats the thread i was htinking of
it kinda just stopped dead didn't it?
but short of watching someone else work
would there be any way to implement some sort of art class system here?
at the wetcanvas website, they have some tutorials that explain the "how to do the techniques" step by step to get a somewhat reasonable facsimile of the example peice; only they don't have very many example pieces and only a couple of them are n any sense thorough enough to achieve some result that isnt gottn through vague eye closures whilke stroking
which i think would be a good idea
for something that isn't in a digital mediu .. like watercolours (ahem mugwort .. ahem)
adjusting brush size and setting layers doesn't really achieve the same results in rl art as digital art if you know what i mean
