Alrighty What Element Aren't You?

Since there are so many threads and polls about what elements you feel the closest too. I am going to ask, what elements do you find lacking sorely/feel the least affinity with? I lack most of all in Earth. I have difficulty with stabillty, security, practicallty, tradition etc. Even though i crave stability.

I really can't be sure which one I have more trouble with, Water or Fire.

I'm naturally good with both Earth and Air.

I sometimes feel that I'm getting too emotionally involved with people for my own good, and i tend to get swamped by emotions and thoughts, so I think I'm a bit lacking in earth too and need to learn to ground myself a bit.

definitely earth. i'm emotional, passionate, thoughtful, but definitely not grounded. i'm spacey and out of it most of the time. disorganized and forgetful.

I'm so not a water person. Emotions are pointless, they cause people to act illogically and are therefore a waste of time. See my water issue, I suposse I should work on that, though I doubt I ever will.

I lack stability and a sense of groundedness right now, so mostly earth. I am also feeling blah and uninspired, so I suppose I could use a little fire as well.

I'd say fire.
I only notice it in my sudden and large fits of anger that overcome me at times, my love of the color red and rubies, and my draw toward fire dieties.

I tend to stay away from fire things-- the sun, summer [the season I dislike the most], heat [I rather be cold], smoke [I am severly allergic to all forms of smoke], fires [I only enjoy candles that I can control, any other fire freaks me out-- I used to have nightmares or fires, burning and things...I think I was in a fire in a past life].
Fire also happens to be the element that I am lacking in my astro chart.

I find myself more air, earth and water.

I have trouble with speaking and communication, creative expression, and (more so at the moment coz I'm stressed) thinking clearly, I'm lacking clarity something shocking.. I'm generally priddi smart, but at the moment Even simple subtraction and addition are causeing me a problem. I'm also very tyed down, nothing is really carefree.

btw, my strongest element is earth.

Earth. I'm not a very stable person (generally emotionally) and I'm not grounded at all. I tend to be disorganized and forgetful. Generally I'm overwhelmed by my Water qualities.

I am sooooo not Earth. And I could really use a little more Earth these days because the Waters in my life are making me crazy. I'm a fire/air sorta person.

Fire. Definitely fire. I don't care that my chart says that I have no Earth in me whatsoever. The person that read my chart says I seem to be attuned to Earth so much because I'm "spiritually trying to compensate for the lack of Earth". I still say I'm too down to earth to have much fire in me. I usually have to force any fire qualities out of me. I can't even spar in marital arts right. I can fight in SCA or something else with either a lot of armor or foam padded weapons, but I can't do it for real unless my life (or someone else's) depended on it. I'm usually so calm in the most heated of situations, I can't believe I have any fire in me at all... but I do love candles and deserts (which are probably fire and earth).

I've had an intense experience with every one of the elements, so I can't really answer here. I have each of them inside me, all brimming with incredible potential.

From my intensive passion for languages, from my rationale-seeking mind, from the self which enjoys music and chanting; from my tendancy to change my online avatars weekly, to change my "dressing" style every day, to refuse to cling to any opinion because I know that I'll eventually change my mind about something, I have an ever-present influence of Air.

From the many times that I have died in this lifetime, my former self and methods of thought reduced to ash, leaving me clean and clear and empty, I have had powerful encounters with Fire which have been as painful as they have been rewarding.

From my inability to shake that feeling of "mystery" that creeps around me whenever I'm in the shadow of trees, or gazing at a Full Moon on Midsummer's Night - or from the sometimes random and overwhelming need to drop whatever I'm doing and cast a circle and create sacred space, I have sweeping and intense encounters with Water.

Due to my experiences with the mystery of water, and the purifications of fire, I could have easily lost my mind on several occassions. There have been times, admitedly, when that would have been preferable than facing reality with sanity. My grounded, rational self which is concerned with the here-and-now, the present moment, this moment right here, I have an ever-present influence of Earth.

They are all very strong in my life, and I'm beginning to see cycles ;)

But, there are times when I don't feel a particular connection with earth ... even though, I have sun and moon in earth sign's ... it's really strange.

I definately have a lack of affinity for Water. I have strong association with Air and Fire, and am fairly competent with Earth, but when I invite Water into my circle it comes as a drip rather than a wave.
