Big Blue Orb

I took this at the Carolina Renaissance Festival on Oct 15. I managed to take one or two more (regular) photos before dropping my digicam down the bleachers. (I got it back). All the other photos are fine. I didn't see anything strange when snapping this photo. I printed this out, and there is barely a blueish tint where the orb is.
Thoughts?

I am no expert on this kind of thing but it looks like what I see before fairies or elementals beings try to contact me. I work closley with this realm and I often see purpilish blue orbs like in your picture. I have been seeing them ever since I began working with elementals. Most of the time I see 4 or 5 small ones though, not large like that one. In my expirience that is what causes it. I see them everywhere though and its like they are just letting me know that they are around.

does anyone else see the figure on the bleachers? it is the same color as the orb. but i can't get close enough in the picture to tell if it's a person , glare or thing. hubby says it's a person. perhaps if it is a person that is who is throwing the shield?

I was wearing a blue skirt, but I don't see how something out of the field of vision for the camera would have reflected into a huge blue ball off in the distance.

I'm not entirely sure of what you meant. I did notice someone wearing a blue shirt. I circled them in red. Then I drew a red line around the orb. I used a dotted line for part of it as I could not tell exactly where it ended. I suppose it could be the blue shirted person, however it's pretty obvious they are not the central um... cause? of the orb. If it were the blue shirted person causing the orb then
1. Why are they so off center?
2. Why did I not get the effect in the previous shots? Or the ones after?

Also I'm fully aware of how dust and moisture can show up as orbs, but I've never seen one that huge or blue.

Maybe you have a spirit guide or some family member pass on that watches over u :woot:

Based on the angle of the sun to the lens (I'm getting this from the angle of the woman's shadow in the foreground), I'm inclined to say lens flare. When you took the other couple of pictures that didn't have the blue cast, were you standing in exactly the same spot, facing exactly the same direction?

I've had orbs show up in pictures I've taken at our Renaissance Festival. I think they are atracted by the energy that surrounds the event. You have to admit a Ren Fair will have a different energy than a State Fair. Never got a
paranormal picure at a State Fair. :lol: (Me, personally)
