Just to see what everyone else is doing.
As for me, I recently joined a coven down here in Huntington, and we planned a ritual. We're dedicating services to the gods/goddesses, calling out to our ancestors, and doing a drum circle.
Anyone else have anything planned?

Hum, getting to boys out to get candy dressed like ninjas. Yet, I will have to eat all the candy because they are to young for candy...hahaha. I feel like such a fat a%% saying that. Then we will most likely do a ritual around the bonfire. Not much more then that. Maybe some scary movies (which aren't all that scary) early today.

I think I will join the grandkids and go trick or treating, then send them home and have a quiet reflection into the otherworld.

I'm going to smoke my apartment with sage, and light a white candle for passing spirits.
And watch scary movies with my SO. :)

I just cleaned up and redecorated my altar for the ritual that I won't have time to do tomorrow, as I am going out to dinner with my friends, and my friend's mum, for her birthday. I'll either do it when I get home, depending on how tired I am, or the night after. I also might do something with my delightful Pagan buddies if we have time.

We are going to a samhain party tonight held by our local witches group I belong to. They are doing lots of stuff for the kids, a handfasting & a candle lighting ceremony for past relatives/ancestors. If the local bible junkies only knew the witches are "really" out tonight and in their town community center too. lol

Hmm... it's tough when you don't know what your roomate at school feels about certain things. We can't have candles or anything, but I do know some people who may be interested in doing something, who knows? I know I plan on doing a bit of reflection and divination. I'l find a way. :)

Not sure yet....I start my new job tomorrow and once I leave there for the day, I have to go to my OLD job and do some work, so I don't even know when I will get home. I'd like to do a small ritual for new beginnings....it depends on how much time I have.

this is the first time I knew Halloween was anything else but Halloween.
My grandma used to make great pecan rolls so I am thinking of getting a pecan type scented or sticky buns scented candle and burning it for her. My grandpa was in the military and so I may download a military song or two and play it while lookign at a picture I have of them.

yes, this is the first year i've taken it seriously if you like, I've understood the significance of it, as i don't know any other pagans around here (yet) and i think my dad would get suspicious if i started any elaborate rituals, i think i'll just take it quietly, light a candle for a couple of relatives and friends of the family who've passed on recently and maybe offer up a prayer.

Gosh...I remember being younger and not being able to do anything...hell, I'm still kind of there...but it gets better, I promise. You learn to do things secretly. :vanish:
That is...until you go to college and meet others like you. :woot:

I didn't get the day off from work and it's a hectic day. =(
I won't have time to go to the cemetery to enjoy the peace and quiet. Instead, I'm going to do a small mini-ritual and meditation with my cats in the quiet part of the house for a minimum of 20 minutes.
I typically don't do anything physical for sabbats, it's all mental (meditation, scrying, etc).
With the time constraints though..man......This sucks.

I'm going to the cemetry during the day to enjoy the serenity and to show respect to the ancestors of the village. Do a bit of reflection in the early evening and then later on I'm gonna do a ouija board with my friend.

I've lost five family members in the past four years, the most recent being my aunt this month. I plan to spend time honoring them and all the others who've passed and then, having closure, welcome in the new year.
On a lighter note, I'm trying to think of something fabulous to cook for me and my man. I've got the table all dressed out, now I just need the food.
After (or probably during) we will hand out candy to any little ghouls and goblins that come to the door.

well they don't trick or treat here, the big thing is fireworks so we usually have a huge bonfire and fireworks for the kids and I'm a hedgewitch so a traditional fire ritual is on the menu too...not to mention all the homebaked goodies!!

I never did have the nerve for a ouija board...my mother had a really bad experience with one as a kid, and so has my sister--so yeah...

I want an Ouija Board!!! *pouts*
I'm not gonna do a single thing..except maybe pass out candy. Ooh..fun!! I hate it being on a school night. Can't go do anything with friends cuz they all live in a different town, too old to trick-or-treat, so what is there left to do??
As for rituals..I only preform rituals I've written, and I don't have a Samhain rit yet. Only a Litha one. I will, however, create a new anklet. I've started a tradition of making a new anklet every Sabbat. (using corresponding colors). Sounds like fun.
*sigh* I'm gonna be bored.

I’m home taking pics of my dog he a real ham. I would have gone trick or treating but dog sitting today. I did wear my costume feeling very Cleopatra right now.
