how do you "create" positive energy, especially when you are feeling down and crappy/angry? I find it so hard- almost like I WANT to be down/angry.....

Emotions are made of energy so the way I do it is to focus on the energy that I want to get rid of, kind of gather it all up, then push it out. It's similar to activating a magical working. I'm not sure how to describe it any better. It takes practice. Then when that's gone I focus on changing the neutral energy that's left into an energy with a more vibrant dynamic, a positive energy. Hmm. This really doesn't help, does it? It's very hard to describe, at least for me. Just practice controlling and manipulating your emotional energy. Eventually, you'll get a feel for how it's done. I was taught to gather all the negative energies/ thoughts in a bubble and let them travel from your head, down your arm and out of your body.

To get specific in a remedy, it helps to know why you are feeling down. There are several things I do to pull myself out of going into a downward spiral.

Energy clogged by dwelling too much upon what you want, will often get you depressed, because you are inhibiting the expression of your Soul, and feeling guilty about it. The solution for that, is to simply do something nice for somebody else... preferably somebody you don't know too well.

Another method is comedy. There is something quite Divine about the sense of Humor. Considering the insane state of the world we are living in, you will never run out of material. If you can spot something absurd about yourself, that is a double plus.

Still another way is to hang out with a tree, or work in your garden. This will focus your mind upon something completely natural and grounding.

Do you see a common theme in each of these suggestions? Every one of them involves getting yourself out of your own head.

i put some music that i can really get into on and just start dancing. Normally no one is home when i do this but moving to ur fave tunes just feels like a full body smile. You get ur blood moving and your heart pumping and just throw your self into it, singing off key doing crazy steps that more resmble flailing about than dancing and sha-bam! you are perky and energetic in a flash!

It's not easy when you're in that state of mind. But it may help to remember that who you really are is a being of love, peace, and joy. It's in your nature so all you'd need to do is remember.

Whatever it is that has made you angry or down, will pass. Try to be an observer in those moments. It's not easy, I know. But if you simply observe yourself instead of becoming consumed by it, that is when you regain your personal power.
