Last week I tried scrying with a mirror in hopes of meeting Frigga. Ok well I read a poem for her, lit a candle & incense & started gazing into the mirror. Before too long all I saw was this 1 eye looking back at me and that's all I ever saw. It didn't look feminine like hers I thought might. It would blink but that's it just the eye, so it didn't really catch me as being much of anything so after a whle of looking at this 1 eye I stopped, said thanks and was done. Didn't know much of what do make of it.
<this ties into just now>
Now today I started reading Germanic Heathenry by Coulter and on page X at the end of the foreward in the 3rd paragraph it says, "So, do not be suprised if, as you read this book you discover unexpected memories awakening beneath the surface of your consciousness like gentle ripples stirring the still, mirror-like waters in a deep, silent well. It is Mimir's Well. And Odins eye is staring back at you from its depths."
And as soon as I read that last sentence it hits me :stooges: WHAM, was that Odin I saw when I was scrying since Odin has one eye, did he come thru instead of Frigga? Or could it have been that I was looking into Mimir's Well and saw the eye Odin sacrificed looking back at me. Whoa this so....uh...I don't know what to call it, it makes so much sense now that I read that because a mirror is part of the element water; well, eye, Odins eye......
If so that's my 1st encounter with one of the gods. wow
