I am 20 years old, jan 1st.
I first got my period when I was 15.. on samhain no less.

5 years into womanhood so to speak, I can count the number of periods I've had on my hands and feet.

I have horrible cramps during menstration for the first three days im pretty incapacited. And all doctors seem to love to completely avoid even attempting to diagnose me with anything. THey say wait it out, don't worry your still young, or my personal favorite "here take the pill".

Yeah, the pill makes me have my period.. but i can't get it WIthout it. Instead of taking it regularly, i merely take it now 3 days a month, when i stop i get my period 2 days later. So basically i am now controlling my period. I'm sure this is not "good" for me, but its better than the alternative of taking the pill and getting my period TWICE a month. Which is what happens if i take it everyday dutifully.

Does ANYONE have ANY ideas about this sort of screwed upness of the womb?

Well...irregular menstrual cycles have MANY possible causes. Your diet has a lot to do with it. For instance, people suffering from anorexia, and bulimia often do not have periods when they are below a certain body weight. Similarly, obese people also have irregular cycles. Stress can also make you miss periods. Cysts, and the like, can also cause irregular periods. I think you should get some differen't opinions from different OB-GYN's about this. Perhaps they can give you some blood tests, to discern whether it is a Hormonal imbalance causing it. The Pill would certainly be one way of correcting that hormonal imbalance. However, if it's a problem with your hypothalmus, there might be some other things that they can do.

In the mean time, there are some magickal things you can do, to attune yourself to the natural cycles, somewhere in this forum. I will try to find them, and bump them up for you. After you've exhausted all of the medical possibilities, it might be good to do a spell, to attune yourself to the feminine cycles.

You can also try Raspberry Leaf Tea, Cohosh, and Evening Primrose. Just some of the herbs which are considered helpful to the menstrual cycles :)

THANK YOU!

It's so nice to hear something other than NOTHING.

One often gets tired of hearing there couldn't possibly be a problem and that its all in ones head. Now at least I have something to say "what about this" when i bring it up to a doctor.

If you get the shot kind of birth control that stops your period all together. They have some safer ones out now too. I don't know what it does for cramps tho.
