Sixth Sense Roll Call

I'm just curious. How many of us here can see, sense, or talk to ghosts/spirits? And if you do, briefly describe your abilities adn what are you doing to deal with it...we can talk about experiences later. I'm really interested starting a forum/thread of some sort where we can get together and support one another. I know I need it, cuz, really, sometimes I think I'm going nuts.

ANYWAY, I'll go first.

Me: Kiani Marie
Ability: Clairvoyant, clairsentient, can see auras & energies, empath
Dealing with it: learning the tarot to help channel energies, learning more about becoming a medium; embracing abilities by finally looking and asking questions.

I do most types of communication and divination with the spirits. These are skills I have worked very hard to achieve quality. Mostly everything I try iI get results however some things need finer tuning than others. I am working on honing my meduimship skills at the moment also. I was not born with the gift it came at a cost of alot of hours of devotion.

both myself and my daughter who is now 13 have the ability to communictae with spirits, she is alot better than me and sees them more regularly, altho it scares the pants off her
i have been told by several mediums that i have the ability to hone in on this and do good for alot of people but to be honest half of me would like to but the other half of me is scared of the unknown

Me: Anubis.. well.. on here anyway (like ya couldn't tell that from my name over there <--- )
Ability: I have been able to see and talk to the dead since I was little.. also do psychometry, animal communications.. I'm an empath, do scrying.. basically everything and anything.. (lol.. been at it for a looong time!)
Dealing with it: Dealing with it? um.. what's there to deal with? It's who & what I am.. lol.. like saying I have to deal with being right-handed!

I was considered "strange" as a kid to the point that my parents took me to a Catholic priest to have him remove the devil from me.. lol.. he said that I was hopeless!.. so pretty much if it's considered wierd or paranormal by the general public.. it's me & what I consider "normal"

Ability: Hear and sense them, shadows and silver aura's? or outlines.. i dont know what to call it.. but like shadows but silver. with no center color. I had my 1st experience seeing a real ghost in human real life form.. I still dont know what to think of that.

Dealing with it: I don't "deal" with it. It is what it is and not much I can do about it. I guess I just let it be what it will be :)

I've have regular interactions with the dead. Whereas before it usually happened at random, and when I least wanted it to, I now seem to have some degree of control over it. (Which is actually control over my own ability to sense these things.)

Or so I think. I know I've experienced things that have no other feasible explanation, but I'm still not willing to fully accept that what is happening here is actually happening.

I have the ability to do something ( I don't know any fancy names for it) with spirits (they seem to like me) but it scares me to the point where I do my best to shut myself off to it. Every now and again I can't stop anything and they come to me anyway. So because of that silly fear, I know nothing about how to deal with them.

Last weekend we drove through a town that scared the bejesus out of me. I don't know anything about the town, but I KNOW it was really bad during the slave days. Bad energy, bad feelings, bad bad bad. I hated it. I was so relieved when we finally left. I dunno how anyone can live there.

When I was in highschool my bestfriend (who was sitting across the room from me) yelled my name in the middle of a test. I looked up at her like (WTF is wrong with you? LOL) and she just looked like she had been shot. Well, come to find out - she was just yelling IN HER MIND. lol It was crazy.

While I don't seem to be able to communicate with spirits or see them clearly (I see shapes, shadows or people just out of the corner of my eyes) I have had alot of paranormal experiences and can sense when something is around.
I think there is a particular spirit that follows my family. At least the activity is the same. Every 6 months or so we get a visit. It seems passive enough so I don't mind it.

My daughter seems to be able to see things that I cannot.

I had the occasional instance of telepathy since childhood. When I got into regular (once or twice a day) yoga meditation, the occurrences seemed to happen more often. Also, I began to have foreknowledge, or precognitive, dreams. And there were lots of synchronicities.

After Reiki attunements, my empathy with both people and animals increased. I experienced more "sending telepathy" - instances where I'd be with someone and they would say, repeatedly, what I had been thinking, pretty closely, half a minute or a minute after I was thinking it. Also, synchonicities increased again to a higher plateau (that is, more often).

I've many times felt like a friendly spirit was brushing my face or cheek. Not sure what interpretation to give it.
