Anyone know if Hay House is a honest publishing company? :whatgives

Here are their submission guidelines--they only accept agented material, though, and since most agents won't even think of submitting to a house that isn't legit (it's not worth their time to do so), then it looks like they are. Looks like it started out as an SP company, but that it evolved into a traditional publisher along the way. I'd do a little more research, but it has some big names publishing with it.

I can tell you this -- we have them as one of our vendors with no problems.

I got a Hay House book by Claudia Blaxell, an Aussie, " Spellbinding". But only four were binding spells,most was candle spells,one a mirror spell & the rest gem spells.

Glennie Kindred published Earth Wisdom with them which is a beautiful and lovely book.

I think Hay House is a fairly reputable publisher, especially in regards to self-help type of books.... Llewellyn (sp) is probably a better bet though, when you don't have an agent.
