Collectables....

I cannot seem to be able to stop buying fairies!!!!!! I have all these little statues all over the place. On my Altar, tables even my tree has fairies on it. I even got a fairy calendar for next year. Any one else got any collections like this? Or I'm I the only nut?;)

I am a butterfly freek. I collect and make my own. I go to 2nd hand stores just to look for them. My hubby collects dragons. What an instresting combo every where you look butterflies and dragons.

When I was little I used to collect carousel horses. The problem now is that I'm no longer as interested as I used to be but my mom keeps giving them to me as gifts. They are currently in the baby's room. :rolleyes:

I collect sand. Yup! Sand. It started about 14 years ago when a coworker was going to Hawaii & wanted to bring back something for me. I told him no, it's ok. He really wanted to bring something back for me so I said ok, bring me back some sand from Hawaii. He did. A little baggie of sand from the beach he was on. It had a tiny dead crab in the bag too. From then on, friends & family brought me back little bags of sand from all over the world. I keep them in tiny spice jars with a label of who & when & where. I think I'm getting to the point I must have sand from every beach in the entire world. :rolleyes: :p

p.s. I tell them to only bring back no more than a tablespoon's worth.

I collect PEZ dispensers. My mom got it started on me. And I kept going and going.

I collect Sandman/Neil Gaiman stuff. I'm running out of room, though! DH & I need a house, dammit! He and I also collect a lot of anime-related items.

And I have *way* too much Cure stuff--not that it's a bad thing, of course. :)

I have a collection of anime myself. Even books and DVDs that have not come out in the US yet. I could not wait! I bought it from over seas, got love the internet.

I collect porcelain dolls. I've been doing it since I was 9 years old. ^_^ I also collect faeries, dragons, plushies, anime, semi-precious stones (aka moonstone, agate, etc), sand, shells, beachstones, dolls of most kinds, swords daggers and other pointy metal things . . . . if it's cute and fantasy, I'm likely to grab it. Sometimes a whim will strike me and I'll just go for anything. hehe

Necklace pendants... Well, that's the only thing I really have tons of (besides paper... :D).. But, yeah.. My aunts & uncles keep giving me necklace pendants for presents on b-days & at x-mas...So I can pretty much figure out that I'll be getting at least 2 this year.. :) (B'sides, I buy some for myself too... My 2 faves are my crescent moon one & blue flower thingie) :D

I collect Teddy bears and dolls.They have pretty much taken over the house. Actually between the dolls, bears, plants, and animals, we just sort of perch in here....:rolleyes:

My best friend is the same way. Actually I bought her the calender *gryns* I love feeding into her addiction.

I wish I was a collecter. I just don't seem to have the knack for finding something to obsess about *pouts* and I wonder why I'm so hard to shop for *laughs*
