Reading Request Please.

I'm in a bit of a holding period with my move. I've been trying to move out of my house for near on two months...but now I'm really stuck. Things happening in my family and for me....oy.
Could I get a couple cards to offer some guidance?
I really need the strength and/or motivation to finish what I started.

May I try? I don't do many readings for those I don't really know, but your question interested me. I just did a "Bridge Spread" for you, using the Hanson-Roberts Deck.

Card 1: Where you are now. This was The Chariot - a sign of being in control, and of movement. Wheels - a car! One of the things I always see in this card is that the man is controlling his sphinxes without reins - mentally.

Card 2: Where you are going. This was The Lovers. Another major - so this move seems to be very important to you. You are heading either towards a new relationship, or towards an important choice. Someone may need to help you get moving, get those reins in your hands.

Cards 3-5: What helps/hinders you on the way. This was the Eight of Swords, The Hanged Man, and The Sun.

Something seems to be stopping you, but you need to look at it and make sure that it's a true problem that you don't have control over. A timeout to think might be in order, or a bit of self-sacrifice over what you actually want. Maybe a bit of compromise is in order? The eight and the man suggest that things won't be moving very quickly, but the Sun tells me eventually things will brighten up and all will be well.

Cards 6: What will support your path. The Six of Swords here seems to show that you've had a tough time, and are going through a bit of the dumps. But it also shows travel from an emotional standpoint - the trip in itself can bring a bit of healing. (Or maybe you should just go on a cruise instead ;) )

Thank you for the help, I found this most interesting. I will try and keep at it. You're right about needing someone else. I really wanted someone to count on, and everyone has seemed to let me down lately....I guess I can only count on myself.

i am with a partner who does not show any affection i have to go to them for it all the time yet they say they love me. i dont know wether to move on or stay. I feel so confused and sont know what to do. I feel so down but seem to need advice then dont listen to it . I dont know whats happening to me and would be glad of some help. I love them deeply but how long can i go on or is it just paranoya and depression. Can anyone help

Oo these are very interesting and could be two sides to the same coin!

Now~ Knight of Chalices ~ This is a man in your love life! So you are either thinking about a man, wanting a love, a man there to be part of yt=our life with you, maybe you are doubting that you will ever find a man again and he is only in your dreams... Or a man is starting to apear for real ~ Im sorry to say that I feel its the first.. but hope its the second!

To come~ The Chariot ~ This is very interesting too, a ride or your steering carefully with balance, power and a clear head. Again this card could be saying two things in this situation ~ that this year is going to be a rollarcoaster and something exciting, some love is going to come your way! Or you have to stay focussed, stay level headed and clear and powerful in yourself. Either way this card shouts balance and power so try to think of those two things in your life.

Major Influence~ 10 of Pentacles ~ This ties in with your new home and is a sign it is going to be a great sucess! You are really going to be going for it on the home front this year arent you! Have you taken on ahouse that needs a lot doing to it? I really feel that you want and feel you need a man to help, but you can do it on your own!!
This card also shows (wick, wick) a happy man and woman ~ couple sat infront of there big house.. so maybe a man will come along on the way!

So think ~ power, balance, going for it, a great sucessful home and love for yourself!

Here goes for the first part of this year ~

Now ~ Death ~ Right, this card means that a change, a end to a situation or period of your life or area of your life has come to part the last few days or is just about to. Im not sure if you are incontrol of this 'death', just remember that after death there can only be new birth and new life, so I feel that although you may be going through a really tough time there is hope and light just around the corner so please dont worry, the wheel will turn again.
This card may also be saying to end something ~ the relationship maybe? I can not say but it is a deffinate end that is in your control.

To Come ~ 10 of Penatcles ~ Home lif e flourishing with love, success and happiness! Now this sounds more like doesnt it! This card reflects stability, progress, success and happiness. You have built the world around you and soon there will be pay off's and you will start to feel allot better. this will be after the end, after you have decided something, after you have changed... Can I suggest you look deep into yourself and try to see what these cards are telling you. I feel that it is a personal trauma that you have to let go off to achieve happiness.

Major Influence ~ 5 of Wands ~ This goes on from the other two ~ I feel you are continually fighting, struggling with yourself and your own emotions and thoughts. Depression then a high and so this pattern has been repeating for a while. Again try to meditate and really grab your dark side by its neck and pull it out, explore it and then end it!
