My favorite decks came out in the middle too. I was just playing around with making my own selector - the free ones aren't too hard to set up.

You first have to set up an account - I just tested with a bogus email address and it seemed to work OK.

You then tell them how many questions you want, what the flavor of answers are, and then give them the number of items that you want the select and order.

After that, you give them the text of the questions, and for each one, which of the items in your list fits the 'Yes' answer. You can have multi items for each question. It must just total up the responses and list the items in that order.

I think I'll make another tarot deck selector using all the decks I have, and see if I can get it to come up in a better order :) Or maybe we can chip in some questions together and make a Mystic Wicks Tarot Deck Selector? That would be cool...

I'm interested in it, but only slightly. It's not listed, but I saw The FAries Oracle on a site and I'd really like to learn more about it. I've lurked around here and read some of the threads. One thing I saw mentioned just about everywhere in picking a deck is for it to..speak to you? Or attract you at any rate. And this one does. The art at least. ^_^;;

My two favorites, Sacred Circle and Robin Wood, both came up near the end. And my top match was the Cosmic Tribe deck! I feel like I should like that deck, but I just can't get myself to. Something about the art style just rubs me the wrong way.

Tarot decks generally have 78 cards - 22 Major Arcana and 56 Minor Arcana. The Minor Arcana are divided into four suits, each of which have ten numbered cards and four court cards. There can be slight variations on this theme - my Quest Tarot, for instance, has an extra Major Arcana card - but tarot decks follow this basic structure, while oracle decks don't use this structure.

I'll have to say, the only deck i have out of these is Phantasmagoric theater, but it is one of my favorite decks. I'm surprised it ranked so low! Especially since I have very little interest in the first few decks.
