You are now able to use animated avatars. Also, folks, all members are now allowed to have an avatar size of 150 x 150 pixels. So, get creative with your avatars and lets get these signatures cut down to size. It's getting quite maddening.

Helpful hint for those like me who are bothered, distracted or annoyed by animated avatars... just click on the ESC key and the animation should stop but you can still see the avatar.

oh well...Then turn off the avatars. I think you go to User CP and then Edit Options on the left-hand side. I keep avatars and pictures and signatures turned off at work because the last thing I need is a big flamey pentagram on my screen when a co-worker walks by. There are several different options on here for all kinds of different needs.

I have an animated gif on my computer.. when I click on it in my documents it moves and does all it's silly stuff. I upload it as my avitar & I see it.. but the little bugger lays there like a lump... what am I doing wrong? This isn't the right forum to talk about ADD and Autism, but I'm glad you found something that helps your daughters. I do pretty well - noisewise - during the day but need a fan or something running at night so I can sleep.
