ok... i dontknow much... see i was at a magick store asking a bout a binding spell he said that binding spells are for life i hope thats not true.
i wanted to do a binding spell on my self. but not for perminante just intill i CAN conrole my "situation" a little better.

well its along story so i'll try my best to keep it consice and simple.
i need to leave somone alone... like i need to stop calling him for a while. and focus on something eles.(wich i am focusing on now). see, im in love with this person and we kinda.... not really broke up... but...u get the piont. but see we also work together. hopefully you know how it is when you love somone you cant stop calling them.. im not saying i call everymin on the hour but u know.... we are both musicians and we are doing a song together and we recorded it but it was awfull and we both said we gotta do that over so im gonna be seeing him a lot when its time to do that u know? but for now i should stop calling him i guess... i dont know......:bigredblu

I do not think I would do a binding spell on myself. Perhaps a banishing spell on a bad habit along with some work in the real waking life may be what you are looking for. If you give a bit more information , we may be able to help ya with a better type of spell. It would depend on what you are wanting to control about yourself as to what would work best.

Some spells can be forever, some can be removed. Also a "forever" spell could run out of energy over time and wear away all on its own.

In my experience binding can be forever or for short-term.
so you can make it short term....

Not all bindings are forever.. you could use a popet and just unbind it when the time comes, or use knot magick and unknot it when the time comes. :)

I would recommend doing a love spell on yourself, to help you veiw this person as the friend they should be, and see you other interest in the light THEY should be, does that make sence? Let me look around and I'll see what I can find, ok? Don't do anything hasty, OK? Think about things first.

Once again it comes down to how you word the binding spell as to howlong it will last. Some can even self release themselves pending the behavior that caused the binding is changed. I would not use a binding spell in your case. Mainly because those who don't want to change can be adversely affected by a binding. (Plus what would be the sense in binding yourself, when you can unbind yourself just as easily?) I'd step back and really evaluate what I want, and then see if there is a milder way to go about it.

I would agree with Shalaye about the banishing spell. Bu to answer the question itself. Yes you can make binding spells temporary. When you do it just add a line like I bind (fill in the blank) for a year or until the lesson is learned or something like that. There are also spells to break binding spells. You may want to google for one.
