Okay, all the going mental in the title is cos I've finished my last Final Fantasy game on the playstation after spending around three HUNDRED hours on FF8 because I wanted to finish every bit. Yeah, yeah, I'm mental obsessive whatever, but just got to celebrate!

Anyone else play any of the FF games? 7 was the best IMO

I've been playing IX for awhile, but I'm not very far. I just find myself like once every few weeks sitting in front of it for a few hours.

Hey!! Now this is my type of topic :lol:

I have FFVIII in my playstation at the moment actually, but I don't think I'll ever finish the game. All except for one (I think) of my characters are level 100, and I'm at the end of disk 3, but I don't find the game as interesting anymore so I don't feel like continuing. I think the story kinda flopped after the stuff in Esthar finished.

Personally I loved FFVI. It was the first of the series I played, and played and played... *ahem* anyway. I have yet to play IX, I didn't like the way the characters looked when I saw my friend play it. I'm actually waiting until next month when the next FF game comes out ^_^ *sits outside nearby mall and waits*

I love final fantasy to the point of being obsessional!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so is my husband I finished 9 long ago and was good but 7 is definately the best, closely followed by 6/3. I want a ps2 jusy for the ff line.

I haven't been able to finish ff8! I'm on the fight with Ultimecia, but I can't get past her 4th aspect for the life of me. lol

well, FF III was my first official RPG, unless you count Faxanadu, which i didn't understand very well since i didn't have the booklet and I was like... 10 and never having played even Zelda, it really confused me. FFIII ROCKED. man i loved that game.

VII was definitely the best I've played. Three days of non-stop playing. *drools*

I watched one of my exes beat FFVIII on his computer.. so I never bothered to play it.

I can't afford games anymore, so I haven't played 9 or 10

I have a copy of the FF Anthology with 5 and 6 on it (2 and 3, i think, if you want to get technical). but i really didn't have time to play it.

I personally LOVED chronotrigger.... as well as some other RPGs i've played... like secret of mana....

Oh, guess what? The FF anthology packs, etc, aren't available in Ireland! Unless you have a chipped Playstation. It's torture!

You can exit the castle to level up, you know. Also just cure, cure, cure as much as possible. Selphie has a kool limit break cure magic called Full Cure, that heals everyone. Also Recover ability is extremely useful.

I've played vii, viii, & ix. Actually I'm on disc 2 of 9 now. I'm not that much of a gamer. Those and the Zelda games are the only ones I really like. I also liked Dark Cloud, though. ::shrugs:: I'm a dork sometimes...
