Beauty spells

Whats everyones view on beauty spells?

Do you think they can possibly backfire somehow?

I have never heard of Beauty Spells before hehe. I have heard of mental beauty, when you think you are beautiful then you will be portrayed as soand vice versa. Glamor is the mind not in a pouch.

Beauty spells are effective if only because they boost one's confidence and people who are more confident are usually seen as more beautiful. People don't do beauty spells to turn from a hag into a supermodel, which would be impossible anyway I think, so I have no problem with them. If they make you feel better about yourself and you think it'll help you look your best I don't see a difference between a beauty spell and putting makeup on to go out.

Interesting question. What about whose idea of beauty? Would you specify in your spell? I mean, I've seen guys who everyone else thinks they're absolutely stunning but they do nothing for me. I've seen couples that are so in love with each other that they just glow. And one or both of them are so odd looking that you think they must have a wonderful personality.

I've thought about trying beautifying spells....like to get my hair to grow....or my nails. (both are problem areas for me) I haven't done them as of yet. (nails and hair always seem to split) hmmm....wonder what that means??

I agree with Myst.....and I think it's YOUR own idea of beauty, as that would give you the most confidence and that's a big factor as to how others perceive you. :D

So, I have no problem with spells that would make you happier which in turn would make you a healthier person! :sunny:

i agree with myst if they boost your confidence it's a great thing.

and Dagda moon-lily, your hair is brittle from a deficiency in something can't remember now too early.
but taking prenatal vitamins, will make you hair and nails grow wonderfuly. and they are fine for both men and women.
my dr. had both me and my husband taking them, i still do.
my baby is 11, sometimes i take breaks and use a different vitamin.

i think the idea of beauty spells is wonderful.

I made a magic mirror! :D

I worked some kind of confidence spell (basically light a candle, look into the mirror and say 10 properties you wish to find in yourself, repeat for thirty days) and now, no matter what I look like I can look in this particular mirror and find I look great!
