I have finished crocheting two scarves. Yay! :bundled:
The book I am using to teach me what to do says to wet or steam block when you are finished.
First Q: Which one is easier to do and/or has better results?
2nd Q: I still have to add the fringe to the ends. Should I dop that before or after the blocking?

TIA!

Both produce similar results. It just depends on which you find most convenient to do that will determine ease.

Personally i'd wet block the scarf, add the fringe and steam the fringe over the kettle and then trim it so it's level.

Thanks. Also, if I am going to be sweing in some small beads, I would do that after the blocking, right?

I'd do it last, it will be easier to see and get them in the right place.

Don't forget to post photos, we like being nosy about these things.

woot! I finished both scarves, and I think I only ripped out what would be close to three miles of yarn in doing so.
