Physic?

I'm not sure if this topic has been brought up and I missed it, but I'm curious. I know all of us have physic abilities and most of here have worked with them. So how do you "see" things?

Personally most of my physic experiences have been "felt" either just as a feeling or someone literally touching me. Every now and again though I actually get to see a spirit standing in front of me like a living person. I also hear them but not with words, but rather with pictures and feelings. I know someone who has has prophetic dreams though and I am envious. The closest I've come to that is channeling or once I had an astral projction experience (the coolest experience of my life!). I was wondering how everyone else experiences things...

I usually get flashes of a chain of events. I see things unfold. Sometimes it's a number of events over time, etc. I can "foresee" things through my mind's eye, or third eye as some refer to it.

I'm sorry for rambling. I can't always get out what I want to say. So much comes forth at once.

Like you, I sense things and have other "visuals". I find that consistent meditation at a consistent time really boosts one's psychy and enables you to tap into more of the Universe.

I usually just have feelings about how an event will turn out...or sometimes I have revelations (thoughts) that come out of no where.
Recently, I've noticed that I will start thinking about something (that I haven't thought of in a long time) for no apparent reason, and it'll happen.
For example.... I lost my wallet, gave it up for gone.... and two weeks later I, for no reason, thought that someone would find it, and the next day I got a phone call.
The problem with this, is I don't know that I knew it was going to happen until it actually does. If I started evaluating every thought I have, I'd probably go nuts.
I've been trying to find ways to make it easier to recognize what I'm seeing, but so far nothing's worked.

But after the real event occurs, i get confused and wonder if i had forseen it or not:(

I see and feel energy, and can see auras. I can't explain to well why, but I do get physical sensations as well as seeing it.

Amora: I think maybe it's just people have different srengths in different areas of mental abilities like all other ones. For example, I've never seen or heard anything but I can feel energies alright, and pick up on emotions pretty well.
Maybe feeling stuff as physical is your strongest way of picking up on this.

I am a lot like Amythest Rose. I tend to feel something and often when someone will begin to say something, I have the answer or know what is in their mind...kinda throws them off sometimes when I do it. I get a notion about an event and then start checking on it and it seems I arlready knew about it. I too, it seems, only notice it when I am not trying, concentrating seems like a block mechanism of sorts. Wish I could learn to channel it and use it when necessary or at will.

I was just curious to see how others got impressions. If there is a norm or not. I used to think you could only be "physic" if you could spit out info like John Edwards or Sylvia Brown, but now I'm realizing we are all physic and they are not the norm. I'd still love to get as good as they are!!

The trick to get your psychic (¿?) abilities on the go is to learn to go with the first impression, it may not seem right at first and even be mistaken -this happens because we analyze them-, but as you tune them you will be able to learn more and more and even predict and forecast events!

:D Learning is not hard. It takes time and patience. I can do it and so most of you. But also is as Armitage says, there are differnt kinds of power for different kind of people.

I have had prophetic dreams my whole life.....sometimes they are very scary. I never know if they are going to actually happen or not until they do. In this sense I am unable to control a sense of forboding after one. I would like to have some guidance on how to know in advance. After dreaming of a man stalking my mom three years before it happened it really turned me off of the ability to do this. Unfortunatly this is not soomething you can hide from, or maybe it is fortunaly I don't know. Anyways all this to say if anyone knows of any resources that would help me develope this gift so I can control it before it controls me I would be eternally greatful.....the other gift that has been given me is the ability to move things but I have once again been running from that most of my life. I hope people here are open minded enough to help and not scoff at this. Thank you

well, first you have to learn to meditate in order to make yous spirit and psiche strong enough; I know because I've been there. You are afraid of your powers because you do not know how to controll them, so I would suggest my way (which, of course, is NOT the ONLY way) :-grin
* if you are a practicant of any faith, try to make your stand strong in matters of beliefs and practices, this helps A LOT when trying to develop and control powers and habilities
* Learn to meditate, you can do this by yourself or you can go to yoga classes and stuff, I learned on my own and did fine.
* BE at peace with the universa (huh?????) yeap, learn to stand and tolerate all forms of life, begginig with the annoying boss you have and even the fly that he loves to have constnatly flying around him (lol!)
Then start little, focus in trying to see ahead and see what happens, some of us can see years into the future and some are able to see hours, check to see how far can you see.

Afterwards you can try the other power. Or if you like, tryit in viceversa (with the powers).
