A few months ago, i discovered Aradia was my matron Goddess. (With some help of some very lovely people here.) However I didn't have a masculine counter part to go along with her in ritual. I've always liked Osiris. When reading Egyptian myths, I've been intrigued by him. He always standed out.

My question is, can I use Aradia and Osiris together in a ritual, even though they are from different partheons?

I see no reason why not:) I myself use Thoth and the Goddess( Still haven't found a female diety I am close to) But why does there need to be one? Some PAgan faiths have purely one sex worship:) It really all depends on whats in your heart, if it feels right to you then go ahead.:)

TO tell you the truth the God and the Goddess are a perfect match right? Well, from my beliefs, Osiris is just a name for the God and so is Aradia. So in reality the God and Godess have many names and they would all be...er......a good match right?

Lets hope Isis doesnt find out! :D And what about the children? THE CHILDREN!!!!!

Eh I would think that osiris and Diana would be a better fit...

Hmmm. The two of them together would deffinatly be interesting. The God of the Dead and the Queen of the Witches ... sounds neat. If you do go with them, you're in for a lot of .... expierences.

Sounds cool to me. I use Isis and Krishna most of the time.

Mm if it works for you.

You might see whether Aradia or Osiris are associate with other deities in other pantheons, what their names were, and if they conflicted in those pantheons. You might also ask *them* what they think.

Wasn't Aradia a woman who spread witchcraft and was born of Diana and Lucifer? If so, keep in mind that Diana was associated with the Greek Artemis, the Kemetic (ancient Egyptian) Bast; the Egyptian Hathor; the Kemetic (ancient Egyptian) Isis; the Phoenician Astarte; the Babylonian Ishtar; the Celtic Brigid; the Babylonian/Sumerian Inanna; the Welsh Cerridwin; and the Hebrew Lilith.

So, take into account how Osiris reacted to Bast, Hathor, Isis, etc. Then you might figure out how Osiris showed up in other pantheons and how they related to each pantheon Diana or Aradia etc. were in.
