I want you to know not only have i been where you are but i am now out and very happy. I had 3 daughters and like you my oldest one left home. I am probably not writing this well but reading your thread has brought back many memories. It is an old trick men like him use to keep us tied to them. They make you feel you are incapable of taking care of your children or ever finding love again. It is NOT TRUE. My X had me believing the same thing . I don't knoe how long you have been married,but I was married to him for 25 years because I was afraid to leave. Finally it got to a point where I had no choice.
I have been divorced for 8 years. My youngest is 15 years old. I found a wonderful man who loved me and loved mychildren like they were his own. We had 6 great years together and I lost him to a heart attack last Feburary. I miss him terribly,but after a few months I started making friends again. My jim taught me what it is like to be loved by a good, kind gentle man and I will never settle for less again
