I was wondering what its all about y'know? How I could learn the healing things and the such like.

Well, for healing...try reading some of the thread in the Healing forum. =) Welcome to MW!

The best thing to do is research on it. Read everything you can, try somethings. And when your researching you might even find your path along the way. Cause once you find it, you'll know. Also things your not sure of ask people, it always helps.

Well, if you're interested in learning about healing, there are several things you can do right here on MW. :)

You can join the Healing Class in the Circle of Teaching.

You can join the Adopt-A-Newbie program.

You can check out the healing forum.

As for the rest of it... check out the New Pagans FAQ. :D There is a lot of helpful reading in there for beginners.

Paganism is a persuit for spiritual attainment. Not special powers. To learn to utilize unseen forces you must be willing to explore and accept unseen powers that be. If you are serious about learning "magick" you'll most likely realize that there is subtle powers beyond our current understanding. You will probably diffine this as you go. Perhaps you will find a path (religion or philosophy) that fits your needs. Then you will learn to utilize these unseen forces to affect change or outcome in your life and being. This is done through a plethora of techniques and philosophical concepts that will most likely take you years to perfect.

Understand the occult is a world of its own and inorder to really understand this world you must be willing to commit years of study.

A good point to start to give a different perspective is Eastern philosophy. Mind you its only a start meant to open your mind and give you a foundation for further study. Eastern Philosophy also covers Reiki - a kind of psychic healing that is pretty much you asked to learn.
