I just got really bad news

Hey eveyone i just found out my Aunt has Small Cell Cancer of the lungs and it spread to her brain already, basically she has five tumors and she was only diagnosed at the beginning of this month....anyways i just wanted to ask you all to light a candel for her.....thanks

Thanks eeryone one....i dont get why this is happening...My Aunt Mary Ellen is the sweetest person....she'll do anything for anyone...including her horses....se lovs them with a passion and takes such good care of them...she currently has 5horses at her house....2 are her's one is her daughte' and the other two are boarding there....*sigh* well i guess thats it for now....thank you all again

Freaky, I have a Aunt Mary Ellen too but thankfully she doesn't have cancer (unless no one knows about it). She'll be in my prayers. Hope she gets better. She sounds cool (or at least cooler then my Aunt Mary Ellen, but that's not hard to do).

Yes she is...radiation for 14 days(5 days on 2 days off 5 days on 2 off the 4 days) then she goes for chemo....

I remember when my "crazy aunt" Ceil was dying.
She had a platinum heart & I miss her. My uncle took kind of a "This is my problem" stance that made us feel our efforts to help were unwelcome. Love her & DO NOT GIVE UP HOPE!!!

thanks you eberyon for your poeitive energy and support right now...i'm going down the shore to see my maily nest montha nd hopefully my aunt will be visiting as well....i think sh'e started to be ready to see everyone again...i havnet seen her since august and i really do miss her...i've been evaluating this whole thisng becuse thats what i tend to do when im worried and i hae founfthe silver lining on the HUGE could...my whole family is commig together....see...my mo lives in florida and it's usually months between when i get to see her ( everyother holiday) and now she's gonna be flying up everymonths so she can go see our family meaning i get to see her and them more often! YAY! so ihave found my good in this whole thing and that's made it easier...

like the others i'm most happy to hear that your aunt is doing better. a suggestion, since one of the common side effects of radiation therapy can be temporary hair loss why not start knitting her some colourful caps to keep her warm while she grows it back.

my friend corey was diagnosed with liver cancer a couple of months ago, and at the age of 21, hes been told hell be REALLY lucky to make it for another 9 yrs, they cant treat it. so, your aunt is in my thoughts, and if i can find a candle in my dump, i mean, room, i ll light it for her!!! and you!!! *huggles*
