Regarding Luggage and Air Travel....

If I am to go on vacation, and I would like to take my ritual equipment with me, in my checked baggage, NOT as a carry on, is it okay for me to pack my Athame?
My husband is telling me that absolutely ANYTHING sharp in your checked bagage will be confiscated. But I'm not sure about that.... I mean, why would they take stuff that you wouldn't be able to get too?
Ideas? Anyone here have any inside information on what the airlines would do?

I travel 3, sometimes 4 weeks out of the month and as long as it is in your CHECKED bags then you should be ok:bigredgri and be prepared for long lines. It sometimes takes me over an hour just to get through security at places like O'hare International. Leave plenty of time (several hours) and if there is a problem the airlines will let you know(shouldn't be a problem). Have a safe trip and merry Yule :lol:
