Prosecutor Neil MacGregor told Falkirk Sheriff Court that Mr Binnie was approached by Evans, who demanded:"Do you want to kiss my fish?"

Mr MacGregor said: "Mr Binnie made no reply and walked on.

"At this point, the accused said, 'You f*****g answer me next time I ask you to kiss a fish', and slapped him round the face with it."

It' s called Happy Slapping and is a big craze with delinquent teens in the UK.

Similar sort of thing happened to a friend of mine, she pulled up at a set of traffic lights and had her window down. A teen leapt out of the car behind, leaned in her window and slapped her around the face with a dead pidgeon.

She was so shocked she didn't think to take the licence number of the car and they got away with it.

Ok well I need to give y'all the history of that particular smilie.

Back many years ago here at MW when some of us were MODS...there were some troubles and it was late and I for some strange reason came out with the phrase, "oh just smack them with a wet fish." (I still have NO idea where I came up with that! :lol: )

Then like a year or more later, the great MOL asked me to round up some new smilies for MW. So of course I scoured the 'net looking for a wet-fish slap smilie and lo' and behold the legend of :fishsmack was born! :lol:


Now I'd like to state for the record that I had NO idea that one little comment years ago would lead to such activities as folks actually being slapped by a wet fish! Although I do have to say, I laughed my ass off reading this story!!! :rotfl:
