I was wondering, are there any binding spells to do on yourself to get rid of a certain habit or something. Has anyone tried it and was it a success?. Also how do i do them.
Thanks

I don't think a spell is needed to break a bad habit. You just make a choice, "I won't do that anymore," and stick to it, no matter how much discomfort this choice may cause. A long long time ago I was addicted to some substances. I quit all of them at once. Withdrawal lasted 11 months before it began to taper off. But I made a choice and I stuck with it despite the physical and mental pain. No magic was needed. It's the same for everyone else, in my opinion. Like if you want to quit smoking, don't smoke. If you want to stop over-eating, stop over-eating. It's that simple. It's just a choice and a committment to that choice. The craving might rip you apart, but eventually, it'll pass and the habit will be dead.
Being able to do magic effectively implies that you have some sort of control over the world around you. I don't believe a person can have that control before they have control over themselves. And choosing to stop a bad habit is really easy. You don't even have to do anything. It's a choice to NOT do something. What could be easier? It might hurt, but...so? Nietschze (or however the hell his name is spelled) was correct, that if it doesn't kill you, it will make you stronger. So rather than seek an outside source, like a spell, use yourself and your own will to eradicate bad habits.
My opinion. Good luck.

Going through the ritual may help banish some negative energy associated with the habit though.
If it were me, I'd probably handle it the same way I did a regular binding... just on myself instead of someone else.

I don't know but what about simply repeating a phrase when the feeling comes along. For example, smoking. When you have the craving, simply repeat something easy ("I will not smoke, I will not smoke"). Keep your mind occupied, fingers busy, and that might work.

I think a spell may help with focusing your energies not to do something.
There are many, many sites that have break bad habits spells.
