Hi there,
I have seen so many times in here that people are asking for binding spells to get rid of something.
Now I'm confused, isn't that banishing? I thought binding was just that "tying" something TO you, and banishing was pushing it away.
If someone wants to get rid of something, even the term binding, sounds like it make that thing "stick" to you, doesn't it?
Am i the only one who thinks this way?

If you're putting handcuffs on someone, are you 'sticking' them to you?

I think of banishing as permanently removing something whereas binding is stopping something, but keeping it around just in case you might need it later.

A binding spell is a method of grasping the (negative) energy that is driving a person to cause harm and stopping it. By doing this spell you are putting up a block to halt the unhealthy energy.

Banishing is just what it says--banishing someone/something from you -- removing it from this plane of existance.
