I want to start making books of shadows to sell, along with sketchooks and journals and such. I have been looking into it, and everytime I google BOS and how to make them, it tells me what to write in them, and I want to actually construct the books. I havent ever made books before, but I am very good at making things and I am wondering if anyone has any suggestions or sites, anything to tell me so I will be better at it.There are web-site on the net where people make absolutly beautiful BOS' that they sell for $500 each! These are leather though and I dont know how I feel about using leather, but its definantly the strongest and they look very cool. I am about to purchase a leather burner were I can put designs and personalize the books, and will probobly use both leather and faux substitutes.Also I cant find anyplace to get the metal buckles and clasps and that sort of thing. I have always wanted to make books that look like what you see in movies with witches like the Charmed series. I think those books are beautiful. I know I at the very least want to make one for myself, but I would love to be able to open up a on-line store and sell them if possible, its just that right now, I'm kinda stuck on getting the info to get started. I always seem to find the few things that you cant google easily and get an immediate answer to!!! If any of you have any kind of informatation that would help me to get started, I would be greatly appriciatted!!! Thanks in advance!!!:)
